We appreciate your interest in your child joining our esteemed school. In this school, they will learn to control their power and, in turn, learn how to blend into life outside of school. Your child will have the usual curriculum if they were still a "normal", though during the afternoon, they will have an instructor that will help them understand their power and how to use it. We also have a large range of ages: some students come at the age of six, if their powers are developing too fast, and others come at the age of eighteen.
I can understand that you might feel worried in letting your child go to a school outside of New York City, though I assure you that your child's safety is our first priority, especially in keeping them from the prying eyes of the "normals". With me as their headmistress, I will make sure that every single rule is followed.

The school is off of New York City, on
a small island, called The Lucent Holm, in the North Atlantic
Ocean. It has a large force field around it, warding off the
"normals" from coming to it. Beside the campus, the island also has
to offer a small town a couple miles away from the school, giving
students the chance to have some fresh air. The school itself is
quite large, some new students will get lost in its seemingly
endless hallways. There are some classrooms that are vacant,
allowing students to practice their powers without interference.
Near the school are the dorms, seemingly small on the outside,
though is surprisingly large once a students enters. Outside the
school, there is a courtyard filled with beautiful followers,
benches, and tables for students to relax.

Marceline was an odd girl since the
day she was born, but it didn’t really show until she was older.
Her parents first noticed her power when she was eleven, after
possessing a bully and making them hurt themselves after beating up
her friends. Not wanting to give her up, her parents decided to
hide her as long as possible, while allowing her to do every day
activities she wanted. But, they couldn’t prevent the event that
would send her to her new school. She was sitting in science class
at school and the teacher had to take a phone call for a minute.
While the teacher was gone, one of the students took a joke too far
and threatened to stab her friend. As an act of defense, Marcy
quickly possessed the student and made him choke himself till he
passed out. After hearing about this, her parents decided that they
couldn’t do anything more, and were forced to send her to the
school.

Marceline has cocoa colored skin and matching brown eyes. Her hair
is a dark brown, and is extremely curly and fluffy. She doesn’t
have the skinniest body, and weighs around 110 pounds. Since she

learned that she had powers, she tried to run away from home, so
she could still be the best psychologist. Her parents heard about
this, and caught her. They forced her to go to this school, and
Rose always wishes that one day, she's going home.

Then it was discovered. Her power.
She always complained about animal sounds in her head but her mother always laughed and claimed she had such an imagination. Sasha soaked up the praise and, not wanting the flow to ebb, agreed.
Later in her life, she was sitting outside when she heard the roar of a bear. She screamed and ran outside, pulling her mother behind herself.
That's how Mrs. and Mr. White realized that their child was wrong.
They took her to the hospital, where she still freaked out, and the doctors ran a quick and painless scan of her brain. Sasha's hearing senses were being activated.
Her parents drove her to a mental hospital which she stayed in for a month, over her seventh birthday, and they removed the animal sounds.
Or so they thought.
The voices came back about a week later, but she kept quiet. She saw her parents stressing over the bills and letters so her mouth was sealed.
Three whole years passed and Sasha grew used to the animal sounds in her head. She actually enjoyed them, because, unlike what she had earlier though, those were the animals nearby. She spent a lot of time around wild creatures and her parents marveled at how she always came home without a scratch. At first, they were worried about their girl, especially one who had voices in her head, going out into the forest. One time they caught her stroking a rabbit. She told them that she gave them food and they loved her afterwards.
Which was half true. She did feed them.
Later, her parents got a letter from the academy stating that she had the power to transform into any animal and therefore, could communicate with them.
After she heard about this, she tested the theory. And turned into a duck. She later realized that she could not transform into anything else, which doused her flaming spirit to a small spark.
She was later sent to the academy and fell into a shallow depression, her power was stupid.("Hey, Collin, what's your power?" "I teleport!" "Sasha?" "I can turn into a duck and hear animal voices in my head.) She grew out of this by the time she hit twelve but she wasn't the girl she used to be

With deep concentration, Al is able to
change plants into tools, objects, armor, or weapons. However,
because he is still learning to control his power, he is only able
to create small tools or objects, such as scissors, pliers, nails,
etc. As for armor, he is able to create a breastplate and helmet,
though there are still holes and kinks in the armor. The one place
where he really shines is creating weapons, mostly dabbling in
axes. Changing the plants' DNA, he is able to make the plant weapon
feel and act heavier. Each armor, object, tool, or weapon is easily
destroyed by even a bit of fire, leaving Al open for attacks when
he has to drop or throw the now burning item. If he uses his power
constantly in a day, his plant creation will become weaker and
weaker, each time he uses it again. (Ex. He first creates an ax,
which acts like an actual one. Later the ax is destroyed and he
tries to create another one: this one is substantially weaker than
the first one. etc.)

Al's early life was a simple one: he
had loving parents, a couple of friends, and did OK in middle
school. He had always had a green thumb, even when he was little.
His parents were so impressed at how the plants seemed to bend
towards him, while he toddled off. They brushed it off, musing away
at their son's affinity towards plants. Despite his looks, Al was a
calm and soft-spoken kid; he rarely raised his voice or shouted at
someone. Perhaps that was why it took the Academy so long to find
him; he entered into the school around the age of fifteen,
believing that this was all a mistake and that he was going to go
home soon enough. He went to Westview Academy grudgingly, rolling
his eyes and shaking his head. This had to be a mistake.
Though it wasn't.
After the first year of being at the academy, he learned of his power and how to control it. Because it had never appeared suddenly in a fit of rage or a stressful moment, he hadn't even know that he had it. Now this is his second year. So far, he's learned to lie low and not cause a ruckus, something his parents would be quite pleased about.

Al stands 6''1 and weighs 150 lbs. He is skinny as a rake and doesn't seem to have a lot of muscles, though looks can be deceiving. He almost always has his hand in his pockets and his head slouched down.His skin tone has gotten darker from standing under the sky, making him look like a "shifty-like" character. The male's eyes are a light gray, and most of the time, they are narrowed with irritation. Most of the time, that is the only expression on his face, just pure annoyance. His eyes dart everywhere while he walks around, like he's afraid someone will jump out at him. As his eyes are a dull gray, his hair seems to have lost its sheen and is now a dull brown. He doesn't take much care of it, so it has grown longer than his mother would have liked it to be.
The clothes he wears outside of the school uniform is simple: dark maroon coat, black beanie hat which keeps his unkempt hair out of his way, black pants, and brown shoes. Seraphina Corazon

Drawback Explanation: She has trouble controlling it, and that she is human, so she is not fire resistant. She has a cancer in her heart and when she over exerts herself, physically, or via her powers, she feels intense pain and sometimes blacks out.

Zephyr comes from a well know family
in the Manhattan community. He is the child of a (almost) absent
but well established and hardworking father and of a loving, caring
but to attached to the public sphere mother. Zephyr was a lovely
child, always playing (usually alone or with his nanny) and was
always eating. As he grew up he stayed very much the same. Even
tough he was popular in his old school, he still played by himself
but he preferred this way. He would just use his imagination. When
he was about 7/8 years old, whenever we was playing that was always
a little wind where he was, was it at school, at the park or at his
house. As the years go by, this wind started to intensify, it was
always there, present where Zephyr was. But no one seemed to notice
it so Zephyr always thought it was something normal. Until he was
14 and when he had his first heartbreak. He was so angry and hurt
at everything that one night, while walking in the park, he just
started tearing apart trees with just the wind. He never told
anyone what happened that night but from that moment on he knew
that that wind that followed him was normal. Almost a year later he
received the letter from the Westview Academy, so he enroll himself
hoping that they would help him.

Amy's last school didn't really do it
for anyone, all the children breaking things, swearing, throwing
things at staff, chewing gum, ignoring teachers and falling asleep
in class. Amy was one of few who wanted to learn, but the teachers
weren't really all that good either. Amy's parents decided it would
be best for her to move, to here. Her old school was full of 'the
normal' too, what if Amy accidently used her powers?

Raised in a family of mafia dons and
donnas, Isobelle has learnt how to make a quick kill of just about
anything. Her mother was a Japanese Shrine Maiden that was forced
to marry the current Ravenwood family head. When Isobelle turned
15, her mother died due to an illness, and on her deathbed,
unsealed Isobelle's powers and willed that she be sent to Westview
Academy. Isobelle was a puppet of the family head, so she had to
obey, put away her toys (mainly her favourite weapon, a double
sided scythe she calls "Shinigami" and head to school.

Spencer was born three hours before
his twin sister, Shay, to a married couple. His parents were killed
in a car accident on their third birthday and since have been
raised by their grandmother. Their grandmother bound their powers
but they regained their abilities shortly after her death 14 months
prior to them attending the academy. One of their grandmother's
friends suggested they attended the academy to learn to control
their powers and possibly expand them.

Spencer is 6 feet tall, has sunkissed
skin, green eyes and a slight athletic build. He usually wears some
sort of dress shirt with the sleeves rolled back to his elbows,
dark jeans and black combat boots. He has dirty blonde hair that is
usually styled in a short, messy quiff. He has a single ear
piercing on each ear as well as two cartilage piercings on his
right ear. He also wears a silver necklace with a circle pendant

In his angered state, Sean transformed into a monster for the first time in his life. He managed to break almost everything in the living room of their house and scared his mother to death. However, he couldn't even remember it afterwards and thought his mother had gone crazy.
It didn't take long before the boy found out his mother wasn't a lunatic after all. His second time using his powers wasn't any more controlled but Sean was able to remember it after turning back into a human even though some parts of it were a bit hazy. However, this second time happened in broad daylight in public and it goes without saying that a lot of people were freaked out. After the incident, it became clear that actions were to be taken before someone got hurt. The boy learned to control the power to some extent while people were wondering what to do with him. Power: Electrokinesis. But he can't completely control it, and a lot of times when he does use it, it most likely backfires and shocks him or someone around him. He can also end up getting flashes of horrid pain that last for about a half minute.

History: When he accidentally electrocuted his father, his mother became even more abusive and hard on him than before. So the more calm and focused she is, the lesser chance it has to backfire on her.)

Power: Amy has the power of Electrokinesis, where she can control or absorb lightning, she then can shoot thunderbolts. The only catch to this power, is that absorbing it, can strain her really easily, making her feel hot/light headed, of she has the bolts absorbed for too long, she would overheat and collapse. When she shoots the Lightning, she gets knocked back a lot.

- She never wants to give up with anything that she does, she would never give in, even trying to get forced to.
- She always wants to help out anyone in need. (But she will fall for people who trick her)

If he uses too much Draco will go blind for a few hours but people have always warned him that if he uses enough energy or he pushes himself too much then he will permanently go blind or permanently lose his powers forever.

Even tough he was popular in his old school, he still played by himself but he preferred this way. He would just use his imagination. When he was about 7/8 years old, whenever we was playing that was always a little wind where he was, was it at school, at the park or at his house. As the years go by, this wind started to intensify, it was always there, present where Zephyr was. But no one seemed to notice it so Zephyr always thought it was something normal. Until he was 14 and when he had his first heartbreak. He was so angry and hurt at everything that one night, while walking in the park, he just started tearing apart trees with just the wind. He never told anyone what happened that night but from that moment on he knew that that wind that followed him was normal. Almost a year later he received the letter from the Westview Academy, so he enroll himself hoping that they would help him.
Appearance: He has short black hair and a little scruff and light hazel eyes. He's a little bit muscular but not that much, heights 6 ft tall. His eyes seem to always be looking at the clouds.

Other: Sean is rather reluctant to use his powers as his alternative appearance easily scares people, which in turn leads to panic in bigger crowds very quickly. He isn't in full control of himself while in his monster form so a mass of people panicking confuses and aggravates his beast-self, which can lead to the situation turning into a serious catastrophe in a matter of seconds. The boy isn't too sure whether he truly wants to learn how to fully control his powers or not as doing so would require him using them. Nevertheless, he's grateful that Adeline Harris founded the academy and he can attend it.

ANNOUNCEMENT
Hello lovelies & fellow roleplayers ♥
I come to you with another announcement today. xCharizardx and I have been discussing and we both agreed that characters should be able to and now can posses multiple powers! Before you get all crazy with this and go throwing a list of random, OP Powers willy-nilly, there are a few requirements for your character(s) to possess a second power or more.
REQUIREMENTS
→ With this being said, you are not allowed to have your character(s) be able wield their powers on command in two posts.
-→ You must progress your character's powers at a reasonable rate.
• Your character's new power must somehow be extended or related to their original or preceding power.
→ As an example, if a character has the ability to read the minds of others, they could now be able to possess the ability to read/feel the emotions of others. It can be considered an extent of their power because both powers involve the use of the mind to intrude someone's personal thoughts or feelings.
→ As a non example, if a character could all of the sudden throw Fireballs and their original power was Premonition, it would be completely unrelated in anyway. A better fit for an advancement of this power would be Astral Premontion, meaning they can see into the future or into the past and also project their consciousness into their Premonition.
→ Since they are related to another, your character(s) may have their power extend to something seemingly opposite as their original or precedent.
-→ As an example, if a character's original power is Pyrokinesis, they could have Cryokinesis as their advanced power as fire is opposite ice. Later they could posses Hydrokinesis A possible explanation could be that their powers are thermal-based and instead of projecting heat, they now can project cold and also use the heat to melt the cold (idk).
→ If you can't think of a power related to your character's current powers, think outside the box! Myself or anyone else can definitely put our heads together and think of something.
• Your character's new power must have a drawback.
→ Self-explanatory.
→ The character's drawbacks could be connected through all of their powers. (Example: A character has a difficult time controlling whether they use Power 1 or Power 2 because they're so similar.)
• Your character(s) must be completely unaware of an advanced power until it is activated
→ Powers grow at random, your character(s) can't sit there and tell someone "Oh yeah, my power is ___ but I can also do ___ I've just never done it before." because they'd have no clue they even possessed it.
• Power Limit per character is maximum three
→ This is to make sure no character goes power-happy and becomes seemingly immortal.
→ You are most definitely welcome to stay under three powers, you don't even have to have a second one!
• Your character(s) can only grow their powers once every fifteen pages
→ This does not include the first time they've used their original power, but do keep in mind that they have to be somewhat skilled at using the power in the first place.
• Your character(s) are allowed to "lose" their powers in favor of another
→ The wait between a character losing their power and gaining another must be at least fifteen pages.
→ This power must, however, be related to one of the character's current powers.

You can submit the form before your character(s) mastered their original power, but remember they must be unaware that it exists within them until they have.

Power: She can shapeshift into almost any animal.
Drawbacks
She has had to have seen the animal in person
She can be stuck in a form she takes for sometimes days at a time.

History:Angelica was raised as an only child. She was supposed to have a twin sister but sadly she died shortly after she was born. She learned about this at the age of 5 and it has bothered her ever since. At around age 7-8 she learned about her powers. It terrified her and she was afraid of hurting anyone so she locked herself in her room for a few weeks. Eventually she learned to control her powers a bit better and opened up a bit to others.
At age 17 her parents died and that is when she started to change. She felt it was her fault that she couldn't save them. Even if it was from old age. She stopped being the sweet little girl she was raised to be and became the cocky and sometimes rude girl she is today.

History: her parents were always worried about her because she was weak and that's why they send them here , though she was forced .

Other: she dislikes much sun shine so normally stays in her room and likes mysteries, she fears of losing and wants to become powerful but by self training and not going in any stupid school . ( sorry for saying stupid ) and she hates Adeline Harris for creating this school
