	"Then perhaps once I've gotten a bit more food prepped for a trip we'll go. Who knows what we'll find out there though... Maybe more humans, but definitely some aliens... "It has been a long time, but yes, I remember a little from before," Lida paused and let Eve's offer sink in. "They were very far away... Probably a couple months of travel... Of course I'd want to go looking, but, you'd really do that? As for getting taken, I'd sooner die alongside a friend than leave them behind. I'm sure as a horse I can run faster with you on my back than we could run normally, so don't worry about that. Just remember to hop on if things go bad." She took a deep breath and glanced to Nala before looking back up at Eve. "Would that be fair to your pack to either drag them along or leave them behind?"

"Yeah I had a family, a mom, dad, and two little brothers." Lida said with a smile. "I had moved out to go to school, and I had moved pretty far out, so I couldn't get back to them when the aliens landed. They had prepped, so aside from trying to get there to find them, I can only hope they made it." She opened her jaw to stretch it, showing a set of feline fangs grow and recede. "It's been a very long time since then, so I've basically accepted both sides to the situation. Anyways," She took a breath to help herself switch mental gears. "About you not having a lift. If we're ever out together, and stuff starts going bad, I should be able to carry you out."

"It can definitely be very cool, but the adjusting to new senses isn't always so cool..." Lida said as she raised one of her hands letting it grow in size and structure to match the paw that was getting groomed. "Shifting back isn't ever hard, so I never worry about getting stuck, though I have to say I used to be concerned about it." She chuckled as she shifted her focus to Eve as she let her feline features slip away, her expression displayed her contentedness with the situation.

Lida saw the glint in Nala's eyes and knew what would be coming. She knew that if the big cat wanted to, she could be ripped to shreds any moment. Though with what she could read she wasn't in any danger. She reached a hand up to cup the back of her head to keep herself from getting damaged. "Oh she's alright. She gave me plenty of warning with that look." Lida said with a grin as she sat up, careful not to move her legs and disturb Nala. "Such a strong and beautiful friend to have..." She didn't dare reach a hand up to run along the predator's back, at least not without permission, she would ask later. For now she altered her head to shorten her hair and sprout short black fur, a snout, long sharp teeth, and her ears moved to the top of her head making her face and head look exactly like Nala.

"I'll go grab some then," She said as she snapped her attention to Eve as she stood, her features solidified for now. "I have not had the pleasure. I have turned into a tiger though, and they seem similar, so it shouldn't take me too long..." She called out from another room. Lida came back into view with a large deer haunch and set it on the ground, near Nala, but not too close. She then moved to sit on the floor just in front of her seat so she could be a little closer but not by a lot. She wanted to make sure the carnivores were comfortable with the space as she studied them, her skin darkening and her bone structure changing bit by bit.

	Lida smiled and agreed, but found her gaze and attention slipping to the large cat beside Eve. "I've got some slightly fresher and less cooked meat if they'd like that..." With that comment her eyes never left the panther. Her skin had started to almost ripple in places, and her facial structure seemed to be fluctuating as well. [Read more]

	Lida set the food down on the table and scooted her beanbag closer so she could sit. "You'd be willing to teach me? That'd be awesome! You're also welcome to any of the seeds and stuff that I have so you can take it back with you to your place." "I'm just asking since I tend to collect seeds from things so that I can try to plant them and grow them, but I'm not very good at growing things, so I mostly just end up with a bunch of things I don't want to start growing since I know I'll end up killing them..." Lida chuckled as she came out with a good sized sack of nuts, the saddlebag of apples, and some of the dried meat in a plastic shopping bag that almost had holes in it from use.

Lida darn near jumped as her guest spoke considering she had forgotten she was there. "I mean, given the right shape and combination, I probably could pull one of their heads off. As for the reading, yes, I might be able to get the shape of their sniffer dog things... Though the full blown alien, I don't know if I can do that... I've never tried something this complicated... The dog thing is complicated enough, but the other one? Ooph..." She had turned the book around to show Eve some pretty good drawings of their insides and outsides along with some scribblings.

Lida walked over and plopped down into her beanbag as she looked through the notebook. "Well, thankfully it's in English, but sadly their handwriting is pretty awful... Unless those are just meant to be designs?" She turned the notebook sideways and then upside-down. "Nope, they have bad handwriting and wrote it the wrong way..." This fact made her giggle for a couple moments before she got a little more serious about it. "There are some details about their insides... How their dog things look and act..." She paused for a moment. "I, oh my god... I could probably pull it off..." She was flipping through the pages muttering to herself, having gotten a little lost in the book.

	Lida nodded and headed back to the ship. Once inside she quickly reverted to her human shape, being careful to grab the saddlebag so it didn't fall. She moved to another room with the apples, though left a few on the table. She crossed back into view to another chamber where she left the saddlebag and the books, but brought the notebooks back out. [Read more]

	Lida had spent many an hour practicing this shape, so she was quite good at picking up the apples in her mouth without bruising them, or getting them covered in slobber. Once they had picked up the apples, she looked to Eve as if asking if she was coming back to the ship, or if she had anything she needed to do. [Read more]
