Sometimes when I click on a bug pokemon, a non-bug pokemon next to it gets clicked although I made sure my cursor was on said pokemon.

I think it's because of how the Pokemon sprites are. Like, if you move your cursor over near a Pokemon, say, in your party, but not right on it, it's still clickable. Just gotta adapt I suppose.

Hmm. Yeah, I guess- bit of a shame though, since these bugs are so hard to click especially in the last few seconds.

Phoenix, if there was a Pokemon next to it, even a little bit aways, the invisible space of that one must have overlapped the bug Pokemon.

Other thing about the Bug contest... I don't know if it happens to everyone, maybe there's too many people online or my Internet got slow, but sometimes it takes some time before the pokemon appears. There's just an "image icon" that appears, then the pokemon appears. Sometimes the pokemon doesn't even appear, the icon disappears before it even shows.
Not sure if I explain this well but those who experience this must know what I'm talking about. Surely I'm not the only one?

Not happening to me- except at the end of the timer when the page is reloaded.
Perhaps it's just lag.

Well, I see that this is impossible to fix- as images are handled as squares and not individual pixels.

Omega, Riako spent a LARGE amount of time creating this anniversary update and deserves some well earned rest. I think you just need to chill. This isn't even a bug anyway.
It takes a bit of time for the Pokemon to appear for me, too, but that's just the lag.

The same thing happened to me! Did anybody else notice that if you click a pokemon in the last few seconds it doesnt count them? Its getting really annoying...

it`s driving me crazy! I`ll click on a bug pokemon and all the pokemon around it get clicked except for the one I`m trying to click!

I have the same problem, the last seconds mostly cause then there spawn pokemons every second and then they spawn just next to the bug I click. but one tip to everyone.
The pokes have sprites which have kind of a empty spates which is still clickable as said earlier, if you see there are 2 pokes which one is a bug type and the other not but the other one is on top then you need to click on the opposite side of the bug type. Let's say the bug type is on the left of the non-bug then you need to click just a little beyond the left side of the bug type to ensure you won't click the other one ;).

A way to fix it would be to erase the invisible part of the sprites but well that's not something for me to say.

That's exactly the problem- unless a completely new image format that doesn't render images as rectangles, there is no way to solve this.
