there should be something like adding 30 more seconds to an auction when someone bid on a poke, because people bid on the last second and it's not fair since you don't even have a chance to outbid.

No support. There's no point on adding more time. You miss it, you miss it. Oh well. It happens to everyone.

That's part of an auction in real life as well. Once a person bids if there is a time limit, and someone else misses it or can't outbid, you're done.

I'm also pretty sure that this has been suggested before, with the exact same title.

No support.

Someone can always abuse this and make it so that the auction never ends

As a sniper (or rather, semi-retired sniper since there isn't much left for me to snipe), I don't support this. I'm dedicated enough to track an auction and watch it down to the second. If you really want something, then you should be motivated enough to be able to spend enough money on it at the last second to ensure that you snipe successfully. And sometimes you'll be busy and miss out on something. Happened plenty'a times to me.

This wouldnt be very fair, auctions would last forever.

Even with this people can still snipe, they would snipe on the last second and its his/hers to keep and they need to wait 30 seconds too.

I'd people bid at the last second, bid back. People set auctions for a certain time, and that's the time you have to bid. Also, would they just keep adding 30 seconds, meaning it never ends?

Title: Agree but Disagree

I agree that their should be a rule for last second bidders. But i don't think the answer is adding more time. To me it seems their are a lot more people bidding at the last second.I watch the auctions that I bid on like a hawk but my success rate is less then a quarter. Maybe set a limit to how many times in a day a person can Last Second Bid?

Or the extra 30 seconds could be used for pokemon that has no bids yet; and, to make sure it dose not go on forever only have this done once or twice.

@Novasplitz
In real life you could just say it you have to click retype and click again which would take to long but instead of 30 sec it should be 5 sec

No support because snipe bidding is a part of every online bidding action you will ever see. True, irl you get a "going once, going twice, sold" but those are not timed auctions, they continuously go until someone stops bidding. If you were to do it this way, bidding could way longer or way shorter but the variables on predicting that are too great. With a set time, if players are worried about sniping then bid higher.
