I think different people deal with these situations differently. For example, I am quite new, and so I don't get this as much, as someone with more desirable pokemon. I'm sure some users get up to 10 noobs asking for their stuff a week. Also reporting people doesn't always work. I had one user spamming on all my feeds, asking for stuff. I reported them three times, and still nothing has been done. And why would you put up with this, when you can just spend 10k to hide a pokemon.

Reporting people always works. The mods are just too merciful in plenty of situations, but I'm positive they dealt with the user your talking about. Besides, spamming isn't that much of a crime, so really just three times isn't too bad- but I'm sure a mod or two has talked to them. And if you have any doubts, you're more than welcome to PM a mod to ask them if anything has been done.
As for different people handles situations differently, everyone should handle it in the same way; reporting. Some people ask them politely to stop, which is also quite alright. I realize not everyone knows exactly how to deal with rule breakers, but majority of the time the answer is always report.

I'm not going to argue over what to do about spammers, but asking for anything after you've been told directly and clearly no counts as begging or spam in my book. As for it being "overkill," just don't use it if that's the case. You won't be forced to buy it, and I think it could be beneficial to the site. For me, I'd probably use it to hide presents I get for my friends.

Ok, you've said what counts as begging and spamming, but that's not what we were discussing.
Oh don't worry, if this were implemented I most certainly wouldn't use it. I just believe there's more serious issues that we should focus on. And dealing with beggars is so incredibly easy; it isn't so serious that we'd need to implement this. With the issue of Pokemon in the box not leveling up and therefore acting as an everstone box makes me dislike this even more. The solution of having Pokemon placed in this box not count towards the Pokedex isn't reasonable; you still have the Pokemon, therefore it must count. It can't magically hide it's presence from the dex.

Tbh I agree with KrazyKarp, there for you don't have my support, the suggestion was mostly ruined by you putting 'Preventing Pokemon to level up' like wtf? Isn't pokeheroes meant to be to train and interact? Not hide your Pokemon and not leveling them up.

Hiding it still prevents interaction for anyone who doesn't actively seek out the link to your Pokémon, so I still don't support whether you directly talk about interacting or not. In fact, all I see that you edited is removing mention of things that still apply anyway and are merely implicit rather than explicit, so I don't know how that would change anyone's mind except by tricking people who haven't thought of them. It doesn't address the problem - just gets more people to support by refusing to acknowledge it.
(And no, it doesn't cost more than a normal storage box - following the price you stated in your post, to store 100 Pokémon [the same as a normal box] is only 140k PD, plus 10k per ten Pokémon added, which is not only less than normal box extensions are, but also WAY less than normal boxes cost. Each box costs more than the last, so within just a few boxes, you'd be SAVING money by getting a box that already benefits you with the Pokédex.)

EDIT: Never mind, I am a complete fail. ;-; Sorry!! It's 50k for the first ten, but 10k each per individual slot, not per ten slots. So my calculations were completely wrong. Thank you, A_wild_CHARIZARD, for noticing this. XD
It would be 50,000 + (90 x 10,000), not 50,000 + (9 x 10,000), so that would be 950k for a normal box. Which is indeed way more than a normal box.
Even so, why not just report beggars? With this price, it's way more cost-effective to buy Everstones, so this still wouldn't see any use except as a means to avoid begging, which, as Karp said, not only can, but should be reported. Hiding your Pokémon doesn't stop them from begging to other people, and ignoring the problem instead of simply having beggars dealt with only makes it worse for other people... while costing you way more than a box plus every Everstone you'd need would be worth? Where's the logic in doing that?
Still no support. Although I do apologize for my complete and utter failure at reading the post and determining the price.

I dont think it should block interactions, that would make everstones useless. It sounds quite expensive too, but worth it. I like the idea, but it might need a little tweaking.

@CarpetMonster and @Madison28
That's the point. It isn't about collecting data, therefore it isn't doing the same job as an everstone. It is just to hide away certain Pokémon. If you ask me, the fact that it would prevent leveling up and costs so much actually makes it more useful because it will stop people from trying to take advantage of it in the ways mentioned. It will only be for Pokémon that you absolutely want hidden away, and the price for completely hiding them away is that they won't level up or count towards your Pokedex, and the price in PD. You would have to decide which you want more: to have them hidden or to let them level up.

To make prices even, what if it costs 300 (or whatever the current everstone price is) x the max capatcity of pokemon in the box. Than that would equal out the price if it replaced everstones. It would also be good to add on the chrrent new box price, becauase it still counts as a storage box.

@Madison28

The point isn't to replace everstones or even do the same thing that they do. They prevent evolution. The box is supposed to prevent leveling at all. The prices are so high because they are meant to be used only for Pokémon really special to you.

I actually support this - because than I could use that "locked" box to put my legends and shinies/megas I am keeping in - Recently a lot of new users seem to come to me and are like: "can I plz buy your shiny/mega __________???" and even though I tell them that they are not for sale the next time I get the same message - it gets rather annoying after a while so I am actually supporting this as it would be very useful.

Full support ;)
As once being premium and my business Power, I had quite a few shinies and Mega ables in my box, and I recently had a user ask for my mega able Absol. This is quite annoying to me and I think it'll be a good place to place my shinies/Megas so that they can't see them.
