My idea, is for a hidden storage box, that can only be seen by users on your friendslist.

This storage box could be used for many purposes, such as stopping beggars asking for your prized Pokemon or any number of other reasons.

The box would cost 50k for the first 10 slots, and then 10k for every additional slot.

Any suggestions, please comment to let me know :3

I sorta support...

Someone just asked me to sell my squirtle to them when I didn't say it was UFT but the leveling up part is the part that I don't like.

People would not be able to see the pokemon to interact though. Maybe they could be included into the clicklists though I suppose :)

i get annoying messages like: "Is dis pokeman 4 sale?" or:" dis pokeman for dat one" regurlarly and if i can put my prized pokemon in a secret box i can avoid that.

Maybe instead of protecting it from everyone or from everyone but friends, have a selection box or a drop-down menu that you can switch between the options. That way, if a friend is asking for a certain pokemon, or a raffle is going on, you can un-hide it from either group.

Keeping your Pokémon unable to level up actually makes a major feature - prevention of evolution and the completion of the Pokédex - way too easy (and it's already easy enough to just buy Everstones for 200 PD each), especially if the boxes cost nearly as much less than normal boxes as your post seems to imply; if anything, they should cost slightly more than normal boxes (by at least as much as the price of the equivalent number of Everstones), because of the evolution prevention I mentioned. I can't support this suggestion.

I also can't support for the same reason as Carpet.

EVERY suggestion about a "secret" box to prevent levelling has been rejected or shot down. Laziness is no excuse for not giving pokemon everstones, and that is what most people would use it for.

On the other hand, a friendlist only box is somewhat acceptable since friends can massclick you. (and if you are telling your friends not to do it and unfriending them over it, please rethink your priorities)

Heck, the friendslist clicklist is all about massclicking all your friends.


Unfortunately, there is no balance in this. Perhaps making it ONLY friendslist only (I can't approve of completely secret for reasons stated)

Maybe then, in partnering with being more expensive it uses everstones like the daycare uses money. A certain number of everstones equals a certain number of days protected from mass-clicking, and if you stop giving it stones, it stops preventing the pokes from being interacted with, but keeps them hidden from random users.
Combined with a very limited number of slots (maybe no more than a team worth), it could still keep balanced.

These boxes cost 10X as much as ordinary boxes, so using these to prevent evolution would be a total waste of money. The primary purpose of these boxes, is to prevent people asking for Pokemon, that are not up for trade. Also, I really do like the idea of friends list only, because this would do the same job, even better then completely secrete, because most people will delete anyone asking for pokemon you aren't selling.

Support. Perhaps to combat the issue of making pokedex completion too easy, Pokemon in the hidden box no longer count towards the pokedex entries. This would also help because even if you do hide that prized shiny away, people will know you have it by looking at your shiny dex.

Also, just to point out, while prevention from leveling up would make getting the pokedex completed easier in theory, you'd pay a total of 1,450,000 PD for enough slots to hide every Pokemon away, and that is just for Gen 1. (50,000 for ten slots then 140x10,000 for the rest of the slots). For that price, you're better off buying ever stones.

Is it really that big of a deal when people beg? Everyone flips out when beggars message them like it's the end of the world when really you can just report and ignore. Having a whole other box system to prevent it seems like overkill to me.
