Green_Oak, buying from other players is a huge part of the game. Breeding is the easiest. You can probably get some free, but ugly ones from forums. If you find an egg, you can hatch it, but they're worth 200kt

@Green Oak: As far as I'm aware, you can only get dragons by buying them from other at AH or crossroads, by breeding your dragons, and by getting unhatched elemental eggs (can be gained from scavenging from a particular region, e.g. wind egg only from wind region while scavenging). You can also try buying unhatched elemental eggs from AH. Plus, when you obtain an elemental unhatched egg, you get some achievement points :)

I found my only egg through the Coliseum.

I recently hatched this XYY from my progens (so, lucky me, it's full basic). I'm going to attempt to gene it eventually. Any recommendations for genes? I may also change its breed eventually, but it isn't at the top of my to-do list.

@Green Oak: Yup, it's really, really rare. You should consider yourself very lucky if you find one. So far, I've only got three. And yeah, you can get an egg through coliseum, but it's never happened with me even after I spent hours grinding
