He's so small, because you kicked him to adult on his first day. Dragons get bigger the closer to the end of their breeding cooldown they get.

That just happens to dragons, sometimes. There are a lot of tiny Coatls, Skydancers and Nocturnes out there. Cute pygmy dragons. ovo

This really makes me want to make a pygmy dragon hatchery. It would take a bit more effort than a regular hatchery, since each dragon would have to be monitored to see if it doesn't grow up too big, but, man. Pygmy dragons! I want an army of those.
