Ah, yesterday I managed to get a dragon I'd wanted for a while. It took a bit of an investment, but I am so happy with her.

I got her for 8k treasure, regened her completely, still considering changing her breed to either a Pearlcatcher, Ridgeback, Spiral, Coatl or Bogsneak OR making her a perma-baby.

Also on the same day I regened this boy, giving him Jaguar/Hex (he used to be Crystal/Shimmer):

Would anyone from Light flight be willing to help me buy a Savannah and a Safari scroll? They are 140kt and 98kt respectively, with dom bonuses they are down to 119k and 83.3k (for a total of 202.3kt). I'd offer you 215kt in return.

Also, does anyone remember how much Lace scroll is in the marketplace? Is it 190k?

On another note, this boy is still looking for a lair to call home. He's in the AH for 25kt, but I am willing to haggle down / take PH currency.

First off: I am not sure if this is actually a bug or is this how it was intended to work (I remember it being like this last year as well). I have not checked the bug report forum past the first couple pages, and forum search yielded no results.

I have entered three out of the four allowed SCEs yesterday. I participated in all three of them. I decided I would choose my fourth the next day (today) - and it seems like I can enter four again, instead of just one.

Is the four SCE limit supposed to be a "you cannot join more than 4 SCEs at a time" thing, where really there is no limit (would make sense, considering we get around 2k unique player visits a day, and 250-300 SCE participant slots for 12 SCE slots)? Or is it actually a bug?

If it is not a bug, could we please have the red text say "You cannot join more than 4 SCEs at a time" or "You cannot join more than 4 SCEs a day", or something to that extent?

	@Error See, I basically live in the coli, too (well, less so lately, but that's still my main activity on the site). But grinding in Mire the whole time, I use up all of my Insect and Meat stacks, while Seafood and Plants are slowly piling up in my hoard. :v Selling them off is nice and stuff, but I'd really much rather just have more food for my ravenous herd of bugeaters. My dragons really do like their bugs, while my coffers are filled with tons of plants and seafood.

Would anyone like to trade their Insects / Meat for my Seafood / Plants? 1:1 in food points for seafood, 1:1.5 food points for plants (e.g., you offer me 200 food points worth of insects, you get 300 food points worth of plants).

Please palpad me if you wish to trade, so that the beautiful brand new thread isn't getting cluttered. :'>

However, I'd love to know what the food distribution is in all of your lairs. Do all your dragons devour one type of food ~~making you cry about constantly running out of food~~, or is their diet nicely balanced?

Which Flight do you like most and why?: Wind, because it's my home flight since I've started playing (and I love the light green color of the dragons' eyes). Light and Plague are a close second and third, due to their aesthetics.

I get the same thing a lot of the time, where I get the red "You don't meet the requirements" despite clearly meeting them and getting the correct rewards anyway.

But today I got a different bug related to the bulletin board, an especially annoying one: My bulletin board task reward was some experience, some PD and a white powder. I completed the task, and got [much less exp], [much less PD] and a fire gem. I was hoping it would be like with the usual glitch, where all the proper rewards are given despite the message saying you failed to complete the task... but nope. No white powder to be found in my inventory. There is no way the task timed out and got replaced as I was completing it, it still had hours, if not days, left on it.

While the first bug is mostly just cosmetic (though stressful the first few times, for sure!), the other one is kind of more of an annoyance (surprise incorrect rewards).

I boiled an egg today (oh lord, the poor poor Bogsneak hatchies…) and as soon as I got it, inspiration struck me to give it away.

So here goes: you can find my small Unhatched Bogsneak Egg raffle in my feeds; the few details there are to it are in the feed itself. It’s a short raffle, will only last half a day.

Also, I've been very tempted to hatch a few eggs today myself, but my lair is almost full again, and knowing me, even if the hatchies were ugly, I wouldn't have the heart to exalt them, and would be too self-conscious to sell them. :'I Eugh, dilemmas.

Yeah, I feel like there would have been an announcement if they did mess with the droprates, thought that maybe I've missed something... But maybe it's just that we all are down on luck. x'D A strange coincidence, to be honest, but it is what it is.

@Error, I've stopped grinding for chests specifically after three or four months of not getting any in the "optimal" zones. Instead, I am just doing my regular fodder runs at the Mire - but that's about what I did before, too. I'd spend like three days hunting in the low-level zones, and then the rest of the week at the Mire, and still get chests aplenty. Now? Zilch. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Guess it's all variants.

I've just hatched a nest of three beautiful bogsneak boys.

They, and the other unnamed dragons on the last page of my lair are for sale; no set price, throw me an offer if you're interested - treasure, gems, PD are all okay - preferably via palpad or PM (either here or FR), so as to not clog up the thread.

On a different note, is anyone else having trouble getting festival chests from the coliseum? This whole past year has been such a drag when it comes to those, for me. The year before, I'd get anywhere between six and twelve chests over a week of casual grinding, but ever since past the last Greenskeeper Gathering, I've gone down to anywhere between zero and three (but mostly zero) festival chests, with about the same amount of coli grind as before.

Did they reduce the droprates, or is it just my luck having gone down the drain?

I mean, duh, dragons become adults at 5 or 6 days old, which is ten days before any dragon breed can, well, breed... I was talking about them growing in size until either they reach "maturity" (ability to breed) or the 1 month mark age-wise.

I'll conduct some research when I have more growing hatchies and I can actually be bothered to keep notes and stuff, because now I am quite interested to see which of the two is correct.

Dragons stop growing at around 1-month-old.

I want to say that they grow until they reach maturity (can breed for the first time), but that may not be correct, I don't really have enough adolescent dragons to do the science; my 3-weeks-old WC (still unbreedable) might still be growing, my two 1-month-old Imps (already breedable) have probably reached their maximum size, my 2-weeks-old Tundras (already breedable) seem to be within the maximum size range, as well.

	Personally I'd stick with these colors and go for either Petals/Spinner/Scales on a Mirror or Vipera/Spinner/Scales on Bogsneak. Spinner's accent goes well with her tertiary Gloom, and Scales gives the impression of a skull/mask. [Read more]
