Minor Updates
Forum-Index → News → Minor UpdatesThe performance of the Dream World Shop has been drastically increased! It should be 30- to 40-times faster now (depending on the user).
A new key item has been added to the Item Shop: The Egg Radar Tracker (aka the "granny" update). Note that the Egg Radar must be purchased before unlocking this item.
It tracks your search and automatically greys out the spots where no egg could be found.
It also intelligently greys out the adjacent tiles for messages like "It's very far away".
Keldeo's forme-change item Secret Sword is now permanently available at the SCS prize exchange. Prior to this update, the Secret Sword had only been distributed once (as part of a special Speed Click Event in 2017).
A new BB Code has been added which displays the amount you own of a selected item. For example if I wanted to put a counter on my profile which always displays the amount of Nebula Stones that I currently own, I'd put something like this:
I currently have [bag=Nebula Stone] Nebula
Stones!
Result:
I currently have 123 Nebula Stones!
You can also set a goal to display your progress as a percentage (between 0 and 100%). Just add ",goal=NUMBER" after the item name, with NUMBER being the amount you want to reach.
Future hunt: [bag=Nebula Stone] out of 1,000
Nebula Stones collected - I have reached [bag=Nebula
Stone,goal=1000]% of my goal
Result:
Future hunt: 123 out of 1,000 Nebula Stones collected - I have reached 12% of my goal
You can also combine it with other BB Codes - for example to use it as a progress bar:
[img]//staticpokeheroes.com/img/event_distribution/interact_progress.php?percent=[bag=Nebula
Stone,goal=1000]&col=2[/img]
Result:
Please note that due to performance reasons...
... the live preview does not work for this feature - it displays "XYZ" as a placeholder
... you are limited to 20 of such BB Codes per post/profile panel.
... this code cannot be used in feeds.
Enjoy!
Update #1: The limit of buying a maximum of 10,000 Game Chips with PokéDollars has been removed.
This limit was originally implemented to prevent users from essentially buying the Game Center items & Pokémon with PokéDollars. However, it is unlikely that anyone would even do that; for example Raikou costs the GC equivalent of 1 Million PokéDollars, which is far above its real market value. The same applies to all other prizes.
Update #2: Banned users are no longer shown as "online" and their Pokémon are thus also excluded from most clicklists.
Update #3: A checkbox has been added to the berrygarden which lets you fill an entire row with the same seed:
This replaces the "hold SHIFT to fill row" feature which was not supported on mobile devices.
The forum search has been improved. It is now limited to the subforum you're currently in (plus all its subsubforums)—most of the time you want to search for "only suggestions" or "only help threads" anyway instead of finding random role plays when searching for "berry suggestion".
The search bar can now be found at the top of each subforum, right next to "Start new Thread".
The search algorithm is also a lot smarter now - it sorts the results by a "relevancy factor" (instead of the post's date), which is based on how well it fits your search term.
Hope this makes it easier to find threads :)
Slugua has been added to the Event Shop. This Event Pokémon has been created by MetalHeadKendra as part of our previous Event Spriting Contest.
Added "My hearted feeds" to the notification wall (suggested here, 98.4% support votes).
The Higher or Lower gamecenter game has received an update. You'll now receive your chip reward even if you lose (depending on how many correct answers you've given so far). This way, you no longer have to manually "End" the game.
As this obviously makes the game much easier, the payout per round has been slightly decreased and the minimum amount of correct answers you need for a reward has been set to 6.
In the past four years, over 13.6 Million Pokémon have been released in Emera Town. 3,171 of them mega-able, 2,311 of them shiny, and even 18 of them shiny mega! Most of them have been released accidentally.
That's why today we are introducing the Pokémon Recovery tool! It is now available at Bill's House.
For a fee of 10,000 PokéDollars (in order to prevent possible abuse), you can recover your released Pokémon (dating back to September of 2016). You can finally get back your loved ones! (... But please still pay attention when performing critical operations like mass-releasing!)
... By the way, the shiny/mega-able/shadow status of a Pokémon is indicated next to its icon like this:
Enjoy ~
In the past, I was always hesitant to implement the frequently demanded "Select All"-button for storage boxes due to the risk of accidentally losing something precious (e.g. a shiny). However, thanks to the recent implementation of the "Recovery tool", these accidents can now be undone. Thus, I present you: The select all button.
I have bad news for everyone who liked to have their very long and very sophisticated comment on a feed being erased by a "This comment is too long!" error message: This bug has now been fixed. (Also: The maximum length has been doubled. Enjoy!)
Update #1:
Attention fishermen and fisherwomen of Emera Town: Our beloved beach area has now been expanded! Parts of our sandy beach were previously inaccessible to the public, as rare fossils were searched for there. The research work is now completed. The result: There are rare fossils on our coast that must be over a hundred thousand years old! From now on trainers are allowed to fish for them and are free to keep them.
Please note that these fossils work a little differently in comparison to the SwSh games. The spoiler below shows which Pokémon is summoned by which fossil:
Researchers have also found another still unidentifiable object. It is a strangely glowing rock which radiates a curious power. The interesting thing is that the researchers were able to find these stones only during thunderstorms.
Update #2:
A new category has been added to your item bag: "Legendary". This category now lists your legendary rumble maps and all of your summon items. Originally suggested here.
Orryrm is now available at the Event Shop. This Event Pokémon has been created by Mozzie in our last Event Spriting Contest.
Pumplin is now available at the Event Shop. This Event Pokémon has been created by Arahkan in our last Event Spriting Contest.
