does first using regular honey and then using super honey afterwards affect the chances of a pokemon showing up or does it not make a difference?

additionally, does having more money in the daycare affect anything? it feels like whenever i deposit a good amount of pd into the daycare and bring the total above 5k, more eggs are produced than when it was just 3k

Is there a benefit from doing shorter runs in rumble times, e.g would you get more from twelve 1 hour rumbles than one 12 hour rumble

Where can you find or purchase a mega stone? I see that you can boil one on the gem cauldron but I'm a long way off from that still. Is it available at the item shop, or in treasure boxes, can I find it rumbling, would it be in a mystery box? I've seen them on the exchange but I don't think I'll be able to afford one for a while still. I recently got a megable pokemon (exciting!!) and I'm looking to focus on the best way to obtain the stone for it.

I think boiling them in the Cauldron and buying them through the GTS / Item Market are the only options there. Maybe it's possible to get them with a lot of luck through mystery boxes, but I don't think so

Mega stones:
They're not available from mystery boxes as far as I'm aware. Aside from the Gem Cauldron and trading/buying from other users, you can trade for one with Leah at the Emera Beach (the trades available change daily so keep checking back until it shows up).

Shedinja:
Nah, shedinja is its own pokemon on PH. Meaning you can just hatch it as its own pokemon from eggs and can't get it by evolving a nincada. It's one of the possible eggs you can get from the Bug Hatching contest if you want the eggdex for it and can't bother with other ways of getting an egg or are on a shiny hunt. (Bug hunt eggs don't break your chain.)
