i saw the forum post about not taking berries from berry bag and putting in item bag again for ruining the economy but i have a idea that will be simple.

make a FEED BAG

like putting berries from item bag into berry bag is the same concept but is take berries from berry bag to a feed bag which the feed bag would be for the moo moo ranch on route 53. then players can choose from feed bag to deliver berries from feed bag to their hungry miltanks.

Fully support! It would be nice to have something to do with berries from the garden that doesn't involve hoarding them until they're required for a task.

Definitely support this, although I'd say if this came in then the numbers would need to be balanced out so the amount of berries was hugely increased that the Miltanks needed - or make then supply less milk for a level 1 berry and more for a level 30 berry to encourage you still working hard for your moomoo milk?

The feedbag is a pretty fun suggestion.

I am sure the economy wouldn't be effected and people would still be buying berries from the store - just more berries would be fed to pokemon instead of Miltanks.

To finally reply.. Yes, I only checked my miltanks at most twice a day. However, half of that was their product as there were times only 1 milk would be produced. I don't know if that was a bug a not. I've stopped feeding my miltanks berries and just remove any berry bulletin request that requires moomoo as the item or ingredient. As for me, at that production rate, berries are just too expensive. However, if we were able to use our garden berries, that would help a lot.

I'd also like to propose another use for our garden grown berries. You know how our scour pokemon are given free berries for the mission they go on? What if we could give them grown berries as well? As for the purpose, maybe they gave an increase to the chance of pokemon bringing back items. Maybe a few special berries instead helped lure pokemon from those rumbles where pokemon are obtainable as well?

One more thing. I think incorporating berry level would be a bit too much. Sure, let us choose which berries we want to use via what our tool shed shows, but coding in the difference for 100 levels per berry may do more harm than help. So maybe instead focus on the rarity of the berry vs effect amount?

So having played this game a little more, I can definitely see where everyone is coming from. I personally do not want to shell out PD when I'm trying to save for an awfully expensive thing (not to mention I think the prices are a tad bit ridiculous for some things around here) like a box upgrade or a radar chip. Having the option to feed Miltank with berries grown from the Berry Garden makes A LOT more sense than dropping several grand on berries unless you don't want to use your Berry Garden/ don't have access to it yet.

Now for my questions/comments. Unfortunately I am absolutely horrible with names so please forgive me.

1. There was someone who said that making coding for 100 levels of berries may do more harm than good. What if you code quality increase for about 1/4 of the levels than code for an amount increase for the levels after that? Like for level 1-25 you'll go through say, 4-5 quality tiers and at level 26 that's when yo'll hit the quality cap and begin going through different tiers for getting more Moo Moo milk from each Miltank?

2. I may have understood this wrong, but someone said something about feeding pokemon (I think the person was referring to feeding our regular pokemon) berries from the garden would upset the economy. Can someone (or the person who made the comment) please explain this to me? I don't understand how having the option to feed with grown berries would be that upsetting for the economy, as there aren't just berries in the shop that you can buy.

3 I'm not sure if someone mentioned this already or not, but I love the idea of being able to not only take berries out of my item bag, but also being able to put berries IN the item bag. I've got a crap-ton of lower level berries now that are hard to get rid of, not only because there are only six slots for the berry market but unless you put everything for sale for 1 pd, you're not really going to sell them. With the prices for things being so high, that's not exactly very fair to us.

Oh yeah... Bumping the post. This is a really great idea, and it doesn't deserve to die.

I can answer 2 and 3:

Quote2. When you feed berries to pokemon when interacting with them, you have a higher chance and amount of rewards from that interaction. So you're more likely to get more PD per interaction and can gain more golden game chips.
With how easy it is to grow berries that all pokemon would like (such as Oran) for free, you're suddenly able to make a HUGE profit off of them. That would drive the value of PD way down when doing trades, because it becomes a lot easier to earn several hundred thousand PD a day just from feeding berries. (Yes, I said several hundred thousand, since I can earn about 100K per day via interactions. If berries boosted that by 50% then that's 150K per day. Or over a million PD a week)

Plus, if you pull them into the item bag and sell them, then the people that have been using the garden since it came out can sell a whoooole bunch at once. Even if it's only 20PD per berry, if you have 500 berries, you just got a 10K PD out of it. This flood of income thrown into the economy would only harm it, since most people have more than 500 berries in the garden.

If the berries could be added to the bag, then they can be fed to pokemon as well as sold. This affects the economy as listed above.

The comments on berry levels being hard to code in. I disagree with that. It would take a simple equation programmed in that would cover the rate for moomoo milk produced or how long the berries last or whatever.
It wouldn't have to be programmed in level by level for each berry. That being said, it's not like berry levels should have much of an effect on the milk produced.

I do not think there needs to be another bag added to the site (feed bag) because the only place this would be used is to feed the miltank.
It should be just like when you go to grind the berries back into seeds - You get a list, you get to see the levels, and you get to put berries in until it's full.

Honestly, I'm not sure how hard this would be to add, but I wouldn't think that it would be that hard or time consuming.

Went to google to see if the berries from the farm would be able to be sent to the ranch (just made sense to me. farm is kinda pointless if you can't send em to the ranch.) I found this thread. Definitely bumping because this needs to be implemented. My cows are hungry but I can't afford berries all the time. plus since I'm giving my cows all my berries, I have none to give other people's pokemon and that makes me sad because they always eye one of my berries and I wind up making them train instead of feeding them.

Yes I agree. Berries from the shop are expensive and why not use the berries we've taken out.own time to grow go towards miltank or interacting. 100 percent agree

I haven't personally checked out my Miltank milk to berry ratio, but it sounds like it's not that good. Hopefully a staff member can say whether or not feeding grown berries would be an option. This has my support.
