No, this doesn't mean an upgrade to our current Pokeradar.

A new Radar, fit to search for those hard-to-get Megas!

I hatched a Mareep today, and I thought; "Y'know, there should be a way to make it easier to get Megas, like it's somewhat easier to get Shinies", then this idea hit me. I apologize if this has been suggested/rejected earlier.

Yes. It has been suggested before. It was suggested here. No it was not rejected as it's not in the rejected subforum. However I doubt this will ever be implemented~
