Welcome to part 1 of our big spring update :D
In the past few weeks and months, me and the spriter & artist staff have been eagerly working on many many great updates for you. We've designed new places for Emera Town, invented more than 50 new items and created a whole new storyline for you, the trainers of PokéHeroes!
The good news: We're almost finished with the complete development of this huge surprise update! And we're ready to present you the first few changes on PokeHeroes, which should prepare you for the very big update coming in March 2015.
Route 53 has been completely redesigned:
Honeytree Modification:
→ There's a new animation when you try to catch a Pokémon on Route 53. Since this animation takes a little bit longer than it was until now, the catch rate has been increased a little in exchange. Win-Win!
Honeycombs:
The "Honeycombs" is a new small place on Route 53 where you can (temporarily) leave a few of your Combee, so they can relax. After some time, your Pokémon will produce Honey, which you can claim every once in a while.
You should check out this place at least once a day, so you have enough honey for luring Pokémon at the tree!
→ There are a few special things about this place that you might not discover on the first visit: For example there might be a possibility to build even more Honeycombs on this place. And hey... how about trying to leave a shiny Combee there?!
→ With this change, the Gem Collector no longer offers Honey for Gems.
Moomoo Ranch:
The Moomoo Ranch is also a new place on Route 53. You can leave a few of your Miltank there in a barn, so they can play or take a nap. Ooooh, chilling!
... And there's obviously something in there for you: With a new key item called Milker you can milk your Miltank every once in a while. Your Pokémon will produce Moomoo Milk, which is... a "useless" item! (Yay!). ... Well, it will play an important role in the coming big spring update, but I won't spoil it to you :D Just take this opportunity to collect your first milk bottles.
In contrast to the Honeycombs, the Moomoo Ranch is not a completely free place. Your Miltank will only produce milk when you leave enough berries there. They'll happily accept any berry that you deliver them. (Note: More expensive berries are not more efficient than cheap berries.)
Alarm Clock:
The item Alarm Clock is also a new Key Item that is available at the Item Shop.
You can set it in your Misc. Settings so it reminds you to check your Honeytree every x minutes/hours and to set up a wondertrade at a specific daytime.
I created a table of all ORAS Megas to give you the perfect overview!
Note that all special ORAS Megas (like Mega Candaria, Mega Saladamenci etc.) which are not on the list are still not obtainable. The legendary items Green Orb, Blue Orb and Red Orb are still not available. They'll become obtainable in the future.

The amount of Mega Pokémon is increasing more and more! Therefore: The propability of hatching a mega-able Pokémon has been slightly raised!
Last but not least: A new badge set has been released! 8 new challenges are waiting for you - and they're all much harder to collect than the first three sets!
Note: Not all badges are obtainable yet. Most badge names should give you few hints/spoilers for the coming spring updates, since some of them require the new features.
Also there might be challenges like "Adopt 500 Lab eggs" (there isn't! But just as an example). However, we haven't been collecting a "Lab egg adopts"-stat for every user from the beginning of PokeHeroes. Therefore it's possible that you - theoretically - already fulfilled a requirement, but it wasn't counted. I'm sorry for that, but there's nothing I can do about it... From now, all necessary stats about different activities are collected!
Have you already seen the current discount at the Event Shop? All Event Egg prices are strongly reduced - and you can also get the Event Passes much cheaper until March 5th. [/EndOfAdvertisement]
You may be confused now: I announced a few days ago, that there will be two spring updates. However, this news post mentions a third spring update (in the Mega List).
Let me explain:
There have been a few changes in my plans; positive changes! There is another small feature coming as Spring Update #2. This small update includes the community artworks from our Spring Drawing Contest. This feature was originally planned to be released along with the rest of the Big Spring Update; but I've decided to release it earlier.
That means:
→ Spring Update #1: Now released!
→ Spring Update #2: Feature that includes the community artworks, coming at the end of February or at the beginning of March.
→ Spring Update #3: The real big spring update! Planned to be released at the end of March.
.... I hope you enjoy the first few updates! :) There are still 4 new places to be released, a whole new storyline to be revealed - and more than 50 items to be added!
