Why do you think this would be necessary? I think 12 hours is just fine cx

it's fine, but it could be better
if you want 12 hours, be happy with it. 24 hrs option shouldn't affect you.
but those people who open once a day are more comfortable with 24 hrs.

yes the current way is good, but no one says that by implementing this suggestion you are striking out the current situation. you are just advancing it for the sake of users' comforts.

I don't support. This would make it too easy to get good items, as you would get twice as many items as on a twelve hour mission without even putting in the miniscule amount of effort needed to push two buttons to retrieve the Pokémon.
Shreyash Jain, this WOULD affect users who like it the current way, as it makes it easier to get good items with less effort, and using the twelve hour option would put you at a disadvantage to the people who use the one day option.

Then be it. Let even others decide whether the want 24 hrs rumbling or not, and yes those who are uncomfortable with 24hrs, what all problems do you face even for 12hrs and what problems will you face in 24hrs.

If you Rumble for 24 hours, you are getting twice as many items as people who Rumble for 12 hours, for half the effort. People who choose to Rumble for 12 hours anyway will be at a disadvantage because of this. Additionally, some people can't Rumble for 24 hours. What if their visits to PH aren't exactly 24 hours apart? If their schedules don't align in a way that lets them come on at exactly the same time, they would have to wait an extra day to get their Pokémon back, or only get half as many items, putting the people who do have their breaks 24 hours apart at a HUGE advantage. This wouldn't be fair to the people whose schedules don't align. This would make it too easy for the 24 hour people to get twice as many boxes and a much better chance of getting Star Pieces, while the 12 hour people are no longer able to get as much that's worth trading. Do you understand now?

Why should it be unallowed to ask for reasons? As you should state why you don't support an idea, it is always good to give reason to support a suggestion, as it helps developing the idea.

shorter rumble times encourage users to come on more often too to pick them up and send them back out, something we want users to do (kind of like better rewards for more active users thing)

no support for the other reasons stated as well

Uh, hello. I'm really sorry to post here, as it seems most user's don't like this. But for me, it would be really handy. I am a student and have exactly 2 chances to connect to pokeheros each day to rumble. Once, although it's a rule in my household to not go online in the morning, getting ready for school at 6:30ish, and another after school ends. During school there is no time, as a firewall is set up. 6:00 is when my family eats dinner, and no technology is allowed after dinner. As you can see, for maximum rumble time, 12 hour intervals do not work. I have to break rules to set my pokemon rumbling. I can see that you say 24 hours makes the game to easy. True, it does reduce the difficulty. But the diffcult does not come from gameplay, it comes from busy scheduals. It's not really a game feature, more of a convenience one. I'm sorry if you don't agree with me, but I am support.
For the idea "24 hour users will get an advantage" that doesn't really work, because any time set you can have advantages and disadvantages. People who can connect all the time have advantages. 24 hours will give it a more even ground.
And if it's still not even enough, why don't we just have hours that can be chosen at intervals of 2 hours? I.e, 2,4,6,8,10,12,14,16... All the way up to 24?

Only... 200 levels left to go...

My guess the ones who are against this idea are majority of kids who can log in when they got time. As for me who has to run the business don't have much time sometimes and 24h option is really reasonable to have for grownups.

Game is easy anyway so why bother to tell 24h will make it easier the trueth is it doesn't change anything on gamming experience, those who will want to choose 12h option will do it anyway. It will bring more flexible options for those who really need it some times.

That's my opinion.

and that is totally correct for users like me and you who login only once a day.
those who are uncomfortable with this, may sometimes choose 24h and rest times what they currently choose.
