A child of a god...never would he have thought this would happen. He thought he was just some nobody...hm. But now what? Would he be getting a weapon and being forced to fight? He’d kept duelling thoughts as he walked back to his seat to sit down

Mack stood up as the video of him dying was playing. He hoped he was heroic enough, he didn't know If they could kick him out, but he wasnt sure what would happen.

Sol looked encouraging and stressed. She had been a Valkyrie for years now, but she was always a little nervous. She watched the video's she had shot and flinched a little.



Aurora sat next to Lenora, watching with interest. She remembered her own ceremony, and how tense everyone had been. It made her smile.


Lenora clapped for the new people. "Sol really had her work cut out for her today." she murmurs. Her sister nods in agreement.

Lorelei's hands were shaking. She watched the videos and visibly winced as they recounted deaths. She felt stressed out to the extreme, waiting for her turn.

Mack returned to his seat and thought. So he was a don of Loki. Huh. “Who even is Loki?” Mack thought you himself. He thought he had read somewhere that Loki was the god of mischief. Maybe that’s why helgi didn’t seem to like him. Maybe he could try to earn peoples trust.

Mack was angry. He had been saving people his entire life, defending others, and everyone hates him because of his father. Someone else saves Some people too, and gets a standing ovation because of her mother. it wasn’t fair, but he had to stay calm. He had to earn trust

Jaden thought that it was pretty cool that everyone else had godly parents (wow, the gods were busy, it seemed). She doubted she had one herself, though. Jaden watched Mack sit down angrily. "Hey, whats wrong?" She asked.

Mack explained why he was mad. How he had done everything he could, and everyone hated him, and someone else did something heroic, too, and she got a standing ovation. He didn’t have anything against Lorelei, he was just mad, but he couldn’t show it because he needed to earn trust.

"No one hates you, Mack. If they do and its because of you dad, they're dumb. And you don't need other people's approval. Besides, we should be happy for Lorelei! She managed to save lots of people, and found her godly parent." Anyone else might have been annoyed in this scenario, but Jaden was pretty chill, she didn't let anything get to her.
