She was not there when it happened, but her sister was and now she was gone. Tears threatening to spill, she quickly wiped them away before anyone noticed.

“I’m pretty sure with all our forces combined, we still won’t even a match for humans, think ability their technology, if even one of us gets caught and experimented on, then they might as well wipe us out, don’t underestimate them” Moeru said as his feathers flare up a bit, he knew what they were like, he was caught too after all, if he didn’t find a way to escape then they were probably going to kill him, even if he didn’t think of them as a bad creature despite what happened, he knew they were most likely stronger than them

Mydresh rose out of the water a slight bit more, Summer's glare not going unnoticed. One eye fixed onto Moeru, the other onto Summer. He seemed intrigued, maybe curious. "I, too, wish to know. As well as, how do you know this human will accept you out of your own human form?"

“Well... About 10 or so years back, I was flying around in the human world doing a bit of exploring. Then I broke my wing by accident... I’m not that proud of it, that was one of my few failed acrobatics tricks ever... And Rita found me there. Rita was like 12 or 13 back then. She helped nurse me back to health. We’d been friends ever since.” Summer told them. She didn’t go into too much detail, but she doubted she left out anything vital.
