When Rita shook her head the feeling worsened but Leaf's demand broke through the newborn's cries, demanding to be agknowleged. "Let me see her!"

Rita's face paled. "Leaf, I dont think that's-"

"NOW!" Leaf snapped, startling everyone, even Harlow couldn't recall Leaf snapping like this and blamed the motherly hormones. "Please. . .I just want to see her."

Rita seemed to hesitate for a moment before sighing. "Alright." She handed the baby over to Leaf who gently took the non-moving child in her arms. For a moment Leaf's tears streaked down her face and onto the baby before she closed her eyes with a hard to read expression. Leaf hadn't done this in a while, and she certainly hadn't attempted this on a dceased person, let alone a newborn. NOt to metnion that she was exhausted having just given birth to not to a single child but twins, and yet she was deteremined and she'd be damned to not to try anything at all.

Flower, gleam and glow.
Let your power shine.
Make the clock reverse,
Bring back what once was mine.

A burst of golden-white light suddenly surounded Leaf and the newborn making everyone in the room gasp out in shock. Though Harlow was firmilar with this, she couldn't recall the light ever glowing like this before. Was it just from Leaf's determination to save the child?

Heal what has been hurt,
Change the Fates' design.
Save what has been lost,
Bring back what once was mine.

What once was mine...

The light finally disapeared and for the longest moment there was nothing. Just as Harlow was about to tell Leaf that she had done what she could the child in Leaf's arms started fussing before crying. An exausted smile crossed Leaf's face as Kyu quickly took Sage and started to clean her off. Harlow brushed the hair out of Leaf's face and noted how taxed Leaf looked, but given that the children were probably hungery and they had no formual and Harlow wasn't exactly in the postion to help feed the twins. . .well. . .

Harlow swallowed. Knowing that the children.. no, not the, their children needed to eat. But she didn't want Leaf to push herself too hard. But there was no other option. The d*mned sponsors didn't provide Harlow with formula, and the cow's milk outside would definitely not work. "Do you think-?" She pauses, hearing a familiar beep coming from outside. Please... Harlow thinks to herself as she races outside. She almost collapses in relief when she opens up the box to find two full bottles. It wouldn't last then long, but they could get through this feeding and allow Leaf to rest.

The bottles were still warm but there wasn't a note this time, that or it got lost when Harlow ripped the box open. Harlow came back in with the bottles and passed one over to Molly who took Willow and started to feed her while Harlow fed Sage. Willow took the bottle almost right away while Harlow struggled a bit with Sage, who eventually took the bottle after a few moments. When Harlow looked over to Leaf, she saw Leaf smiling a little though exhausted. "They're so beautiful, they're perfect." Leaf whispered to Harlow.

"More than perfect... They both take after you fully" Harlow tells Leaf, a huge smile crosses over her face when Sage had eventually accepted the bottle. "Sage is quite stubborn isn't she?" Harlow asks with a laugh. "She must take after you" she teases. The two watch Sage for a moment, both occasionally looking at Willow every few moments. "You should get some rest Leaf" Harlow tells Leaf sternly after a few minutes. "Sage and Willow will be okay" Harlow promises.

Leaf nodded and laid back and almost fell asleep when her head hit the pillow, and with all the work that Leaf had gone through Harlow couldn't blame her.

Azar finally woke up just as the night came, followed by the anthem which showed that there were no deaths today. Azar fidled with the necklace charm. It had been Ashley's, but once Ashley had died, she took it hoping to return it to her parents. She looked at her bracelet then sighed. Hearing the sounds of Willow finishing her bottle and Molly trying to put the baby down to rest she tenativly poked her head in the room.

Chakti felt like he had been traveling for months, but he knew it was only days. After escaping the black thing, which had managed to break one of his ribs, he'd started traveling as fast as he could upstream. Now, he was exhausted, freezing, and starving. Still, he kept walking, now clambering up a small hill. Sometimes, he would weakly call out, "Emmie?" Any and every time he heard a noise, his senses managed to perk up enough to see a sheep or a cow. He hid during the night, usually in a low tree, and traveled during the day. He thought he could hear voices, crying, screaming, but he also thought he was losing his sanity. Slowly, he sank to his knees, having long forgotten the idea of sleep, and began to weep. He doubled over, his hands meeting the ground , and felt the tears stream from his eyes. He didn't bother to look up, because he was sure that everything he could hear at the moment was false. The voices swelled and dulled, the screaming echoed, and the crying grew ghostly and frightening. He leaned back to his knees once more, using his last reserve of energy to cry out, to call for help. He hardly heard it, but an echoing, ghostly shriek rang from his mouth. Once again, he began to weep, whispering, "I'm sorry, Emmie. I'm sorry." He collapsed onto his stomach, curling into a fetal position .

Emmie swore she had heard her name. She peeks out of the cave she had sheltered in. "Chakti!" she nearly screamed his name. She ran over to him. "Chakti?" she asked said, quietly. Tears welled in her eyes. "Chakti!" she cried aloud again.

Chakti shuddered, uncurling and blinking the tears in his eyes away. "E-Emms?" He held out a hand, grabbing her arm. He laughed, the sound seeming more like a painful wheeze than anything. He began to push himself more upright, pulling her into a hug as soon as he was on his knees. He was shaking, more from joy than the cold. Releasing her, he whispered, " I thought I'd never find you. " He smiled, but the tears still flowed from his eyes.

"Well, you found me now. Come on. Let's go to my cave." she murmured, the relief flooding her voice. Emmie smiled. "And don't worry. There shouldn't be any mobs in there." she added. The tears still wet on her cheeks, as she pointed to the cave she had been sheltering in for the time she was in the arena.

He nodded, then stumbled to his feet, his gladius colliding with his leg inside it's sheath more than once, and surprisingly loudly. He winced, placing a hand over his broken rib. Once again, he looked up at the cave and nodded, then began to walk towards it, his breathing shallow. He looked at Emmie, then said, "Why the long face? I think you know it takes more than a busted rib to beat Chakti." His voice was hoarse, his eyes barely betraying the amount of pain he was in. Then, he looked back at the cave and started his shuffle again.

"Hm. Is it bruised or broken?" she asks curiously. Emmie checks to make sure no one is watching them. "Whatever. You need rest. I'll take first watch." she says, somewhat grimly. Her fingers twitch as she sits down near the entrance. "I wonder if any tribute has healing powers." she said aloud.

Kayda's reign of terror had returned. She was asleep in the Cornucopia, intending on getting some rest so she could go hunting again. She awakes to whispering. What now...? Kayda thinks to herself angrily. When she walks out of the Cornucopia the careers surrounding the girl immediately shut up. "What were you talking about?" Kayda asks suspiciously, her sweet tone had returned.
"Nothing that concerns you" the girl responds.
"Mmhm" Kayda glances up at the sky, noting that it would be dark in a few hours. "Alright, fair answer... Why don't you join me tonight?" Kayda asks. "You seem strong, it would be nice to have a good back-up" Kayda doesn't wait for a response, the walks back into the darkness of the Cornucopia. This girl wouldn't survive the night, that was going to be certain.

Kayda raises an eyebrow at the duo. Both of them were quite a problem to her. They didn't exactly show that they were against her, but they also didn't show any support to her. It would be nice to take care of them too, but she also knew how strong her ability was. It wouldn't hold very well against three people. "Very well, you can join me" Kayda responds, her voice tight. She would have to think of a new plan.

Azar looked at Leaf's twins. "Did. . .did Leaf have them? Is she okay?" Her voice rising in concern, Ashely might be gone but she decides to help Leaf and the twins however she could.

Sage finished her bottle with a tiny hiccup then snuggled down in Harlow's arms to sleep.

"Aren't you an eager one?" She shakes her head. "Now isn't the time to go, we want to go when it's much darker. That's when their guard is the most lowered" her words are quite ominous, slightly hinting her intentions. "We'll be leaving soon, you have nothing to worry about. Especially if you choose to follow me"

Harlow smiles at the holds her daughter. She was so focused on Sage that she barley noticed that Azar had asked her a question. "Yes" Harlow tells Azar softly, not wanting to startle or awaken Sage by speaking at a normal volume. "Leaf is okay, just tired"

Kayda stares at Gleen for a moment, her eyes icy. "I sure hope that's the case." She strolls out of the Cornucopia, her eyes falling onto the girl. "You know what?" She asks. "I'm getting real tired of you careers. I offer you protection against mobs, I go out and hunt down other tributes for you. You all can get real cozy in the Cornucopia knowing that I am doing the dirty work... and this is how you repay me?" The girl, who is from district 2 suddenly realized her threatening tone. She lounges for a knife, which glows the second her hand touches it. Kayda kicks the knife out of the girl's grip and then aims a kick right at her face. She kicks the girl a few more times, she even hits the girl with one of her light shards for good measure. "All of you- you better learn to trust me, or you will end up in a much worse fate than this girl!" Kayda shouts, droll flying out of her mouth in the process. In those moment, she looks rabid and dangerous. This would certainly scare the younger careers into submission. But the same can't be said for Gleen and Helene. She gazes over at each career, the only sound that can be heard is the sobbing that is coming from the girl.

Azar nodded and sat down in one of the chairs. Rita had gone to the top of Leaf and Harlow's house to keep watch, with her bow in hand.

Kyu had gone out and tamed about a dozen wolves, each tamed wolf, or dog, pending on the person's preferance, was sporting a red collar around its neck. All of them followed Kyu into the village and she placed a few at herown house, a few at Rita and Scarlett's house then took the las four in to show Harlow. All the wolves were well behaved as if Kyu had trained them (which she hadn't), each one sat down and looked at Harlow. "Now you guys have your own gaurd dogs. . .or wolves I should say. They'll attack anyone or anything that attacks you and Leaf and the kids, either on command or to defend you." She scratched one of their heads and the wolf's tail thumped on the ground in apreachation. "They're good boys."
