"Éponnie." Shion greeted groaning. Running a gloves hand over his face, he sighed. "Not good news I'm afraid. Talla's on the move. Word is that she's struck a deal with the Orcs. One of the cities we were protecting fell into their hands and they're on their way to Maltak." Peering around Éponnie, he raised an eyebrow at Mandy. "New recruit or something? Looks like she couldn't even ride a horse properly."

Mandy was a bit embarrassed about how obvious it was that she didn’t know much. “To be fair, it was kind of forbidden for me to ride a horse...” she mumbled.

*A guard walk up behind Mandy* That's Captain Shion of Poringo. During the battle of Ragingo, he supplied are men with thousands of arrow heads, swords, spears, and more in his blacksmith shop. Almost singal handedly won us the battle.

Rubbing the back of his neck, Shion shrugged. "Judging by the amount of weapon requests coming in? At worst it's 10 thousand." He sighed and shrugged. "Could be worse. A lot worse." He reached back to absentmindedly oat his steed.

"What?! I was - ugh...." Shion wasn't about to deny Éponine anything. Over his time in the resistance, he had learned that Éponine was usually correct. Rubbing Equelles's snout fondly, Shion sighed. "Roger. I'll go restock my supplies and meet you back here in five." Without waiting for a reply, Shion set off to do just that

After notifying the general, Shion waited for his supplies to be restocked. In the meantime, he began writing on a piece of parchment, lost in trying to get the words right. Once he was notified that his pack was done, Shion hastily finished off the letter and dropped it off at the nearest post office before running back to the city gates. 5 minutes, not a moment too soon or too late

Swinging himself up onto the nearest mount, Shion took off after Èponine. Getting used to the new mount more quickly than he would have liked, Shion sighed and gently rested his head against the horse's neck. Really, he'd been promised that he could return to Poringo for a short time after delivering his message but now he was dragged back to the front lines. He wasn't complaining, no, but sometimes just writing letters back home didn't cut it.
