"They say there isn’t a cure... Laura was furiously researching for one last time I talked to her. She words at a Pokemon Center now, you know." Victor said, imagining having burns which never healed.

"Are you okay?" Volt asked, looking back at Theo in concern.

Tiger blinked, "Nurse Joy in Mahogany said there was a place that might be able to cure it in Hoenn." He said in a partially troubled tone. The mention of the burn made him rub his arm once more.

Theo nodded slowly, and was still shaking. "Y-yeah"

"I hope you find it. Laura said there have been a few injuries in Kalos. Mega Houndoom are popular there, and they're vicious, so more often than not inexperienced trainers get burnt." Victor said hopefully.

Meta was now diving below Theo, to save the Pignite from drowning, if needed.

Tiger nodded and sighed, he scrolled through a page and yawned. "I'll be sure to tell you if I come across anything." He said kindly and blinked. "Though right now, all I'm getting is the cure might be in Lavaridge." He mumbled quietly.

Theo blinked and looked under him as Meta went to steady him. He shook his head clear and looked around.

Toffee propelled herself underwater as well, eyes flashing curiously. She looked prepared to say something and then fell silent, shaking her head. She was underwater, of course she couldn't say anything! Using her wings to help her, she paddled to the sand and move down it around cheerfully.

"What about a cure?" Mel blinked, looking up from her dex. "Seconding Victor, its like every new trainer's after a Mega Houndoom. It's like the new Mega Lucario or something, everyone's gotta have one."

Theo looked around as Toffee went underwater. His heart was racing, but he sighed and shook his head quickly. He jumped off of Meta and followed after Toffee following after her


Tiger looked up to Mel and blinked. "Apparently somewhere in Lavaridge a few myths and olf stories tell about a cure to Houndoom's burn. If i can find it, then I can get rid of the burns that I got in Johto. Maybe then i can help other trainers with this as well, I mean most legends are started from truth somewhere right?" He mumbled and sighed before shaking his head uncertainly. "Though I'm not sure if this even exists..."

Mira climbed out of the water, shouting encouragement to Theo before going over to Mel and Tiger (still fiddling with the string of the necklace). “That sounds good. Especially for you,” She commented. “Who knows? There’s no harm in looking for it.”

Watt squeaked happily before following Theo, being cautious to not let his cheeks touch the water. Mira had taught him how to discharge his cheeks so that they didn’t shock everything they touched, but he wasn’t the best at it so he was careful.

”The Magikarp wouldn’t be the best idea. Maybe a nice water bird,” Toka suggested, beating her wings.

"Unfortunately, Houndoom's exactly the kind of Pokemon a new trainer should NOT go after. I think it’s worth looking into the legend." Victor said.

Meta saw a few Dratini underwater, so he quickly floated upwards. He was not used to many serpentine Pokemon other than Shine.

"It's probably worth it. There has to be something like it out there, or maybe a human-made cure? Dunno." Mel shrugged, shutting her dex off with a yawn.

Toffee waved at both Watt and Theo as she continued to brush sand around idly.

[Uhh they're at the beach talking; Theo's trying to get over his fear of water, and the others are talking about Houndoom burns and how to treat them. There's a mysterious cure potentially. Whoosh~]

"Mystic Water?" Mel brightened. "Fini gave me some of that in Alola! I never used it, do those things have an expiration date?" She wondered aloud thoughtfully.

[can I say how much I hate typing something but only for the internet to crash on me without warning? Good news is I'm not at home so its not my WiFi this time...]

Tiger blinked, "mystic water might work, though I have a feeling it might be more along the lines of he hotsprings in Lavaridge or one of their other natural remedies." He said quietly and closed his laptop to take a break from working. "Either way though, it's a good idea to find a cure to it." He said agreeing with both Mira and Mel. "I mean man-made or natural I'll figure it out. Even if it means I have to make the medicine myself...I just want to be free of this." He mumbled quietly.

Theo smiled and looked at Toffee curiously as she twirled in the sand. He blinked and noticed something was shining.

Kibo nodded and laughed before going to Toka. "There's gotta be a Pokemon to talk to around here." He said gently.

Mira lifted her arm to give Tiger a side-hug, hearing hum mumble, before realizing that she was soaking wet. She wiped it on her towl before successfully side-hugging him. “Nothing is permanent,” She pointed out lightly. “You’ll figure it out. Just don’t die along the way.” She joked lightly.

Watt giggled at Toffee and soon noticed what Theo saw. ”Ooh, what’s that?” He asked, tilting his head. He splashed to get Toffee’s attention and pointed at the shinkng thing.

Toka looked up. ”Ooh. Bird pokemon up there—“ She pointed to a tailow.

Toffee tipped her head back upon feeling the ripples from the splash, turning back again and spotting the shining object. She frowned and beat her wings to return to the surface, gasping before diving back under again and continuing to brush the sand off.

Once again, Mel was back on her dex, studying the region map. "Honestly, I doubt it's made up. It'll probably just be hard to find. After all, can you imagine how many people are after that cure? Probably lots." She mused.
