Theo squeaked and shivered in fear before nodding slowly, and took another step forward.

"Yeah." Kibo laughed in agreement and went to the shore once more, he looked around for a Pokemon to talk to. "I'm sure all the Magikarp will want to talk to the Dragonite that like to eat them." He joked warmly.

"Why don’t you join them?" Blaze nudged at Scarlet, pointing at the group of Theo, Toffee and Watt.

"Uh... I don’t like socialising, and I'm not the one who likes water. Oh, and Victor said I had a serious or calm nature. Maybe something to do with that." Scarlet mused. The Delphox still carried his blade around in his dress. He vividly remembered evolving right after Victor had arrived at Hoenn.
"Anywaus, why don’t you send Meta there? He knows no one here, and he must feel lonely. Robot Pokémon must have feelings too." He suggested thoughtfully, looking at the clueless shiny Metang floating around.

Toffee nodded approvingly as she stepped into the water as well, though she did it carefully as to keep the splashing to a minimum. "Yes! See? You can do it!"

Theo nodded slowly and looked at Toffee before taking a few more steps into the water. He flinched and looked like he was going to run back again, but he shook his head determinedly and continued into the water.

Toffee nodded approvingly again, eyes flashing with pride. With a little boost from her wings, she padded after Theo with a smile, fully prepared to catch him if she had to (though she hopes she wouldn't have to).

Blaze walked towards Meta. "Why don’t you go in the water too?" The Typhlosion suggested kindly.
"It'd be useless alone."
"There are other Pokemon there.
"I don’t know them except Volt."
"There's no harm in introducing yourself."

Meta reluctantly floated towards the group of Pokemon.
Volt, who was surfing all his time, greeted Meta with a nod, he then noticed Theo was flinching.
"Do you need any help?" Volt asked Theo in concern.

Theo jumped slightly in shock, as he hadn't been aware of Volt coming over. He splashed into the shallow end, and was deep enough for him to sit down and still had his head above the water. "Err...i-if you want to." He said nervously and glanced at Toffee.

Tiger blinked, and looked up from his laptop. He watched as Watt, Toffee, and now Volt tried to help Theo get over his fear of the ocean.

"I'll be surfing just in front of you. If you need any help, you can grab onto my tail for support." Volt suggested.
Meta dived inside the water nearby to see the aquatic life.

Toffee greeted both Volt and Meta with a little chirp, floating around aimlessly. "So its like that weird thing! Where you're holding onto something on the back of a boat while you're in the water!"

"That's what I had in mind." Volt replied, noticing Toffee.

Meta floated upwards in the air again, and nodded a hello to Toffee. "What's your name? I'm Meta." The Shiny Metang began.

Theo nodded in response to Toffee and glanced at Meta he nodded a greeting, but still looked nervous about the water. "Yeah it's just like that." Theo said quietly. "Hello, Meta." He greeted kindly.

"Hello! Hi! I'm Toffee! Are you a robot? Woooah, you're gray! Are those spikes? Your name's Meta, right? I like you. You're cool." Toffee decided, creating little ripples as she flipped over to actually view Meta.

"Yeah... I'm a Metang, a steel type. Others of my kind are a darker grey. And those are spikes. Nice to meet you!" Meta said excitedly. I guess I can have friends, after all.

Victor was seeing the Pokémon from the beach. "They finally got Meta to socialise... I was getting worried." The trainer said to himself.

Theo smiled, "I'm Theo, a Pignite. I think the reason you have a different color than other metang is because you're a shiny." He said cheerfully, forgetting about his fear of the water for a bit.

Tiger over heard Victor and blinked. He had gone back to looking at his laptop, "honestly Cyndaquil and Charm we're a lot like Meta when they were young. They had a hard time socializing as well." He replied kindly.

“Yeah. Scarlet was also alone, but the difference was that he likes being alone. Meta was alone and hated it. He didn’t know how to start a conversation. Nice to see that’s changing. Maybe Theo and company will improve him.” Victor said hopefully.

“Yeah. People said I was shiny. Are you shiny, too? The pignite at Oak’s lab are more golden.” Meta commented.

Tiger nodded, and glanced up before looking back at the laptop with a small smile. "I'm sure the Johto Knights, or Hoenn Fighters, or whatever that trio is calling themselves. Will be able to help Meta learn how to socialize." He said cheerfully and glanced over to Cyndaquil, who was still placing shells on Leaf with Dusk and Rose's help. He smiled in amusement and blinked before going back to the laptop. Another reason why I should find a way to heal this Houndoom burn. He thought to himself in a determined manner and tapped the keyboard.

"Yeah I'm a shiny too! So is Charm, Suki, Silver, and Shine." Theo said cheerfully and smiled at Meta.

"Being shiny must be cool! You get to be a different color! I'm a Togetic! Apparently if I was shiny the only difference would be the little triangles. Which is boring. But I like being not-shiny." Toffee mused, mostly to herself as she beat her wings enough to lift herself out of the water for a bit.

"I don’t care much about being shiny. I'd have probably lived the same way if I was normal." Meta said, diving into the water after Theo.

Tiger blinked and looked up. "They're still burning. I mean, the wounds themselves healed, but the burn still burns at the worst times. It burned while I was swimming so I had to leave the water before it became unbearable." He said with a sigh and looked back at his laptop.

Theo nodded and squeaked in shock as Meta jumped in. Due to the Pokémon's weight a wave was created and he went underwater. He popped up moments later, due to still being in the shallow water, and shivered a bit of fear was in his eyes. Though he didn't say anything about it. "H-honestly, I-I like being shiny." He said quickly in an attempt to not sound scared.
