What is with my luck!!! I got another rare egg from the Professor's Lab!

My rare egg that I got from the Lab little over a day ago hatched into a Lapras. I was hoping for Eevee but this will do too.

How did I get a rare egg from the Professor? I have no idea how I managed that, I usually get the easy and medium eggs from him.
