Is it based on consecutive clicks or clicks overall in a day? 'cause even with a good movie playing to watch while I absently click, going for 100,000 clicks in a row just to heighten chances of Luffy spawning is a lot even for me x.x

Each click has the same random chance of summoning the monkey. It doesn't look at the interactions you've already done.

Also, @Yummy~ I'd love to know where you got 20% from?
Each plushie increases the chance exponentially (so each plushie adds a higher percentage than the previous one), but you still need to not claim the Eggs 50 times in a row to get to max chance. If it really increased the shiny chance by 20% it would only take 5 not claimed Eggs in a row.


('not claimed' meaning that you chose the plushie when Zarude showed up)

@EeveeXO zarude has a random chance to appear every interaction you do, regardless of whether your party is full or not! it will appear with a full party, and you can click on it. but if you choose the egg and your party is full, it will just warn you and will stay in your userbar until you empty a party slot and claim the egg. if you choose a plushie, you can have whatever in your party!

During Monkey Mondays, will Easter Slakoth also have an increased shiny chance or just Slakoth?

Edit: Saw Kimie's post and to anyone who sees this, yes Easter Slakoth and other monkey variants also gets the increased shiny chance according to Riako

This should be clarified in the main news post I think
