In the Advent Calendar it counts how many doors you've opened. Missing a day shouldn't have you be told you've opened a door already. "You missed this day" or something makes much more sense and doesn't contradict the count. I did the task but forgot to claim the prize for the 15th, and when I check it, it tells me the door is opened. But that's not what actually happened. What happened is I forgot to claim the prize. I missed the day. Saying it's open contradicts it telling me the number of doors open.

Just remember: You can't prove God didn't crawl out of the ocean.

Maybe also include:

putting an 'X' on the ones you missed, instead of a black box, so that it stand out and you know that you missed it without clicking to check.

If you do click the ones with an X then it tells you 'you missed this day'.
