a normal day.
Forum-Index → Roleplay → Private RP → a normal day.A young man sat behind the principal’s desk, humming cheerfully. His hair was a light shade of green, and his eyes were a bright shade of red. His legs were kicked up on the table, his hands behind his head, as he leaned back in the swivel chair. He wore a horribly pinstriped sweater, gren and brown and red, all msimatched in an oddly beautiful way.
The floor was covered in blood.
he motioned towards the closet in the corner of the room- used to keep confiscated student items and school supplies. A trail of blood lead up to it.
“Don’t open that. it only causes you trouble.”
his voice was recognizable- it was the one over the intercom earlier.

Mei Xiu stared at the man, unsure if she'd ever met him before. He seemed to know her. And his use of the word "again" was concerning.

He laughed cheerfully, spinning the switchblde around in his hand- wait. Had he always been holding that switchblade?
“Do you not understand yet? Well, i suppose you wouldn’t. The zombies probably are stuck on the second floor, right about now."

The zombies.
"Well then. Maybe it's not a game. Maybe we're all going to die." The thought did not concern Mei Xiu as much as it should have. She raised an eyebrow.
"Again, I have no idea who you are. Who are you?"

"I'm Mei Xiu. I'm not... around much. I've barely been in school a month this year." She punctuated the statement with a well-timed sneeze, allowing her to see the monitor screen.

Brooke was humming cheerfully. He completely ignored theother bits of Mei’s dialogue. The monitor was completely blank, the screen cracked, bits of blood flecked onto it.
How the boy had managed to get through this whole thing without any blood on him was… unknowable.
“Isn’t this fun?”
”…H-holy…”
Reagan took a step backwards, her eyes slightly widened at the gruesome scene ahead of her. The entire second floor seemd to be overrun by the blue-skinned zombies, snarling and growling.
Kyoko put a hand over her mouth.
Reagan tried her best not to throw up right then and there.
She recognized some of those people. She’d been friends with some of them.
The thought of two people floated around in her mind rent free.
Reagan turned on her heel, and before Kyoko could say anything, sprinted back up the stairs.

"Do you think that's truly the only way to get out Lil Fish?" Jing Yu swung his yard stick makeshift weapon back and forth, tapping it on the ground rhythmically. "I may not be the smartest person, but I sure do not have a goldfish sized brain..! Pun unintended...heh"
Jing Yu gazed out the window, scanning the campus grounds carefully, before he paused, thinking carefully. As if he realized something, he turned back to Yu Xuanji with a bright look in his eyes.
"Xuanxuan! I think you got the direction wrong! You're supposed to turn left twice not right! Seems like someone still can't differentiate their lefts and rights~" Ofcourse... you should never expect something good coming out of this man's mouth, even when their life is at stakes..
Perhaps that was a good thing.. sigh.
Jing Yu's eyes still glittered, as if he didn't just provoke the mysterious quiet kid that sat in the back of the class. Of course you couldn't always trust the stereotypes... but from the other students perspective, you couldn't say that their resident introvert kid was that kind either...
XuanJi sat on a desk because the teacher sure wasn’t turning up, according to her calculations, the zombies should be at the second story by now.
But jokes aside, Jing Yu could hear the rumbling and screams of the people and zombies down stairs frighteningly clear. His smile faltered, they got to make a plan quick.
"..Say, did your martial art skills get rusty yet? If not.. I may or may not have a lil plan~" Jing Yu's lips quirked up with a grin of mischief. But there was a glint in his eyes, that make the other's want to believe him subconsciously.
"See! I still got a few brain cells workin!"
Now this is gotta work right?
"I knew you could do it! Now that is what I call perfect teamwork!" Not only was Jing Yu proud of himself for his quick thinking, but he was also proud of his friend over there. Despite her usual dazed self, she in reality is not a vegie!
"Now what are we waitin for!? Time for some action!"
Teamwork makes the dreamwork, and the pairs momentum almost seemed unstoppable!
"Heyhey! Wait up! How come you weren't this fast when we were walking to school ey?" Jing Yu complained as they both sprinted side by side to the emergency exit with Jing Yu just one step behind the other.
Jing Yu knew that, that was why he has been trying to divert their attention away from the looming zombies the whole entire time by purposefully teasing his lil friend over there.
But.. it seems like the time of peace was going to be over soon, as Jing Yu gripped his makeshift weapon of a yardstick tighter than ever, as a feeling of doom filled his stomach.
They slowly and silently walked down the emergency exit, weary of the signs of any brain dead zombies that they might find.
On Kyoko and Reagan's end, only the distant sound of shuffling zombies could be heard.
Reagan slumped against the wall of the empty classroom they'd gotten in and locked themselves into. Her heart was racing, ever so slightly.
Kyoko was standing across from her, next to the door. her eyes were just slightly wider than usual, and her breathing was just a bit too quick.
Reagan stared at the ceiling.
"...We're all gonna die. Even if we do get out... what would I tell my parents, if I came home without Artemis?"
She muttered under her breath quietly.
On Brooke and Mei's end, it was a still, calm silence, a precursor to what was to come.
Brooke stood up from hsi seat, stretching lazily. he flipped the switchblade open. there was a prominent bite mark just below his right wrist.
"Alright, let's get this party started, yeah?"
Suddenly, the sound of a fist slamming into wood rang out, as the door nearly flew off its' hinges.
Brooke's grin didn't falter for a moment.

Mei hesitated. She had just shattered someone's arm. A zombie's arm. A student's arm. She undid the latch on the window, prepared to scale the building again.
