Matilda began to walk through the mall, taking in the surreal sights. She light ran her fingers over the walls, checking to make sure it was all... real. She heard voices echoing further down the promenade, and began to make her over to them. Maybe they could answer her more pressing... questions.

The announcement voice flickered on

This is a Public Service Announcement: Due to unforeseen circumstances you all have been transported inside our lovely Mall, but not to worry, there are plenty of shops that host food, water, and whatever other necessities you may requ— oh uh, I see you all have already discovered that… sorry— If you have any questions, please bring them to the help desk located on one of the many Mall maps.

“Interesting..” Lyney mused “Though, I have to wonder, what could bring us all together like this…”

Interesting. Camille teleported around, just randomly. He wasn't sure if anyone saw, but he was having fun and finding food. Was this stealing? He didn't care.

Aruna frowned. Where had that voice come from? And...unforseen circumstances? Hmph. She was slightly annoyed.

Help desk. Map.

Matilda reached into the pocket of her oversized sweatshirt, and felt around for a minute. Her fingers brushed a large piece of folded paper, and she carefully extracted it. Unfurling it, she smoothed it out against a smooth wall, and found the help desk on it. After glancing around at the shop's around her, (Cath's Cafe, The Trading Card Shoppe, Five Below), she found where she was standing on the map, and set out for the help desk. She travelled up an escalator, surveying her surroundings.
It was never meant to be.

The three came across an Escalator.

Athena jumped up.

"Wah! It's one of those escape-looter thingamabobs! Mia, look!"

Calmia sighed.

"It's an escalator, Athena. Not too big of a deal."

Calmia stepped onto the escalator, sighing.

"Honestly, you're far too energetic- Where's Ezekiel?"

Zeke was happily looting the stores, having gotten to the second floor minutes earlier.

Matilda paused at the top of the escalator, the voices she had heard still following her. She peered down the moving staircase, three figures riding up behind her. Their squeals of glee echoed throughout the nearby area. Were they friends or foes? Curiousity got the best of Matilda, and she slowed her pace, waiting to see if they would spot her.
