Carter's School of Edeya
Forum-Index → Roleplay → Carter's School of EdeyaWith a swift, efficient motion, Andrael lifted Saeha's sleeping form out of Kinoko's arms. She hefted Saeha over her shoulder, cradling her with ease despite the girl's weight. She then reached out with her free hand, grabbing Kinoko's wrist, her grip gentle yet firm as she steered her in the right direction. "This way," she huffed, correcting their course.
Her demeanor remained stoic, focused solely on the task at hand. She didn't make small talk, silently trudging across the campus. Crossing through groves of trees, passing other classes training outside, and cutting through a building or two, she navigated them along the winding paths of the school.

"Hey Miss Prof, can I go with Andry?"
Soo-ah fiddled with her fingers, glancing at the professor slightly shy, the usual obnoxious side of her hidden away.
She heard someone following them. Soo-ah. Well this was about to be miserable.

Without saying anything else, Soo-ah rushed towards the moving group with newfound eagerness, before slowing down once she was just a few steps away.
"Hope y'all don't mind me joining you guys ehe!"
But unfortunately, the school had rules. Stupid Carter, whoever the heck he had been.

“I don’t need help, sorry.”
She stepped back a few feet to walk alongside Soo-ah.
"Hey Ko, you good?"
Soo-ah whispered, at a medium level, as she walked leisurely with her hands behind her head, her face not looking a single bit concerned, despite asking the question.

My current RP work:
"I- okay."
She turned to Soo-ah, deciding to forget about it.
"Yeah, I'm fine. I wonder if the dorms have been organized yet. I know it's still morning, but I'm already tired from the combat test."
Suddenly, deathly silence fell upon the two, before Soo-ah took a deep breath and announced.
"There are dorms."
Soo-ah stated, as if she was trying to take all the information in.
"There are dorms?!"
Soo-ah widens her eyes, almost comically, now that the information had set in. But she seriously was surprised!! On the school page, there was nothing said about the school having dorms!
But now.. if the school truly had dorms.. what should she do now?! What words could Soo-ah tell her precious, stubborn older sister?! Whose food is she going to eat?
Many worries flooded her mind, as she went internally crazy. She didn't notice that her hand was still on the other's shoulders.
She kept her annoyance in check, not wanting to escalate the situation further. But she couldn't help but feel a mix of frustration and disbelief at Soo-ah's lack of responsibility. Andrael had meticulously researched every aspect of the school before arriving, wanting to be well-prepared for any situation. It was a stark contrast to Soo-ah's carefree and negligent approach.
"And to answer your other questions," Andrael continued, her voice remaining composed. "Each student is assigned to a dorm based on their grade level. You may or may not have a roommate. We haven't found out our roommate assignments just yet, though. Again, you'll find more information about the dormitory system in the student handbook."
With a subtle shake of her head, Andrael turned her attention back to leading the way to the infirmary. She didn't have time to babysit or indulge Soo-ah's lack of responsibility. She shifted Saeha's weight to a more comfortable position, careful not to further hurt the girl. They were almost there.

"Go easy on me Andry~ Not everyone has the time to go through each and every cranny of the student handbook! Especially that thick! I swear it was thinner last year..." Soo-ah muttered at the end, grumpily, it was almost adorable, if it were a rarer sight.
She knew well and clear that Andael was definitely using her words as a way to express her annoyance of her attitude, but what could Andry even do? If a little sarcasm was all it takes for Soo-ah to back off, she wouldn't be here right now. She wouldn't even have lost her memory in the car crash. Soo-ah was sure of it.
"Guess we won't be roommates. You're rank is freakishly good."
She smiled and linked her arm with Soo-ah's.
"Maybe we should go back and watch the rest of the tests. I think Andrael has Seaha's situation covered."
Soo-ah said nothing about the sudden behavior from Kinoko, instead, she chuckled, before letting her free arm rest gently on her forehead and tilted her head back dramatically, gasping loudly.
"Oh No! And the dorm rooms are managed by ranks?! It's just my horrible luck! Why did I try so hard for such a high score..! Now unless someone score an 8 or higher, I'm going to be paired with Andry?!" For the sake of the play, Soo-ah linked their arms tighter, and clinged onto Kinoko, weeping, dramatically. To the point of Soo-ah squeezing out fake tears from her tear ducts, making the play even more ridiculous.
"It's not that I don't like Andry, it's the other way around sniff sniff! No wonder she was so annoyed earlier when I mentioned about the dorms.." Soo-ah hunched her back, drooping like she was a wilting plant, and sniffed.
She tried to pull away from Andrael, but failed miserably.
"Let go of me..."
Her arm ached, her legs felt like they'd been snapped in half, stuck together with duct tape, then crushed by the stone grinders that the ahjummas in her neightborhood used to grind spices.
The blue-haired professor nodded.
"Would you like to go next?"
wickedness?
Or is it
weakness?
You decide.
