Andrael did as he asked. Textbooks exuded boringness to most, but she had never minded them. She was vaguely familiar with Mana Theory. The lesson was sure to be useful, even if it wasn't interesting. Saeha was confirmed to be the professor's favorite; she would only speak if there was a possibility for Professor Wright to listen to her.
It was never meant to be.

Fortevera opens her book and just stares into it. The pictures were pretty, the text... not so much. But she pretends to care, just because else she might risk a scolding or something. A sigh came from the green thumbed lady and she looks around class right after, humming a little.

Celine’s textbook was already at that page. Perhaps coincidence, or perhaps this girl was just insanely academically driven. Whatever it was, she didn’t seem to be very interested in the Mana Theory, having already pre-read the textbook. Still, she tried to pay attention, folding up her previous doodle and passing it to Buttercup. The doll passed the drawing of Class 2-4 to Saeha, as Celine slumped on the table, half dreaming, half focusing.

Kimono flipped open her textbok, only to find it to have been vandalized by the past user. She browned and thumped her head onto the table, exhaustes. First day and she made an enemy, got on a professor's bad side, and received a bad textbook.

Great job Kinoko. You go girl.

Fortevera hears the thump on the table, after checking the weather, she decides to imitate her. Except that her upper body was heavier, so she was louder. Turning to Kinoko, she just gave a smile and a wave under the table. She just thought Kinoko was as uninspired as the she was.

Kinoko smiles back and gives her another wave. Her hair flops onto her face and Kinoko blows out a stream of air to get it to fall back into place.

Tearing off a piece of paper from a notebook, she attempts to draw a frog (which ends up looking like a kangaroo) and folds the paper up. After glancing at the professor, she tosses the paper over to Fortevera, proud of her creation.

Fortevera takes the drawing of... well, she assumed it was a frog... but it also had weird pouches... Kinoko could see that she was trying to figure out what it was. But after a while, she just gave the drawing a little pet and draws something in return, handing it over.

A drawing of... a flower. A peony, to be precise.

Kinoko takes the paper and smiles at the drawing. After a good moment, she hands back a drawing of a tulip. At least this time it was decent. Her pride wounded, she handed the paper back with the shaky drawing of a happy tulip. She glanced up again at the professor to make sure he wasn't looking.

Fortevera this time knew exactly what kind of tulip it was. She even went so far and gives the drawing a hug, pressing it against her chest. Then, she panicks a little and tries straightening the paper again, it was so pretty. Thinking about something she could draw again... all she could think of is plants. So she hands back a crude drawing of a happy rose.

Tulip clambers up the table, staring pointedly at Fortevera. A small hand raised, pointed towards the drawing, then gestured towards herself. She turns to Kinoko, staring as she gave a little wave, albeit a little stiff. Meanwhile, Celine was busy being unfocused and supremely uninterested in whatever Fortevera and Kinoko were up to. She seemed to look a little more tired than she used to.
