So, I know most people aren't in the same boat as me, but this whole Mew thing is terrifying... ;_;
I've been hunting for over a month now for my Spring Mareeps, and I plan to get two more, but 510 EHP for Mew..? My friend had their Mew egg hatch 30 seconds after adopting it.
30 seconds.
I don't know if I'm fast enough to move an egg into my boxes before it's too late.
At the rate of my Spring Mareeps, I'll get anywhere from 10-20 more eggs to contribute to my chain before the 31st and I probably won't be done with my hunt by then... OTL

So, my suggestion is to change Mews' EHP to 30,855 (Which I believe is what it's supposed to be, anyway) . That way there's a little more time to move it to the Egg Storage. I know in some ways that is kind of a hindrance, but it would also give time for people to save money for an egg storage, too. Maybe, for some people, to even find out that it does break your chain.

I can see where you're coming from. I support this for reasons you've already stated.

Thanks, Tetractys.
mojoryan2003, the only reason I said 30,855 EHP in the first place was because that's what Bulbapedia states Mews' EHP is. I feel like most other eggs on this site have the correct EHP and all, so I don't see why that shouldn't also apply to Mew. I, personally, wouldn't mind what the number is, as long as it's a bigger number, but accuracy to the games is at least mildly important here, I think...

Support. From what I gather, Mew was the very first event here and had some kind of special status due to that. That's fine, users who were around then got to enjoy the quick hatching. However that event is a year in the past now, and most users who joined afterwards are only confused by the number. Not to mention that with the current amount of people (and therefore clicks) it's indeed a risk for long running chains, even with the warning in the Ancient Cave. (Thanks for said warning though! It's how I knew to keep the Egg Storage ready.) So yes, I'd also like to see Mew's EHP changed to what they are in references.

Even though I already broke my chain (didn't even think of egg boxes), I support.

If I had tried to move it to a box, I wouldn't had made it. I got the egg, click "Your Party", clicked the egg... and it was hatched. So I would actually like to ask that this extend to all future events, that break chains if hatched, as well.

Full support. I was literally shocked when I saw the egg's EHP, and same as Omosky, I didn't even have time to interact with it before it was hatched. I can't really see the reason why the EHP was set this low in the first place.... but I do support it's changing back to the correct amount.

Support! Espessially those with a shiny hunt on-going because they worked so hard on it. (Even though I did not get any)

I would also like to add. True, there was a warning at the cave, but it's been said so many times that an event egg wont break a chain.

Raiko, was it not possible avoid breaking chains? (Note: Honest question, I'm not being sarcastic here.)

It was and it doesn't break your chain anymore.

I support because I was expecting mine to take a few hours to hatch but only took 20 seconds and I am too scared to now adopt any eggs because of it.

Time to reclaim the slot in my egg storage then. Thank you, Riako!
