The Legendary Saviors! (RP)
Forum-Index → Roleplay → The Legendary Saviors! (RP)Afton held a huge lily and held it to his face. "Sportsy will love this--" Suddenly, William sneezed. Not a normal sneeze, but a glitchy sneeze. With a flash of purple light, a pizza fell onto Bendy's head. Some purple shards formed some chips, which fell onto Jet. Some jelly beans landed right in front of Arceus, with some strawberry ice cream falling on its head. Acid tipped itself on Jack F Kennedy's foot, causing him to screech.
Startled by the glitchy sneeze, Afton waved his bandaged right hand which removed the scattered food and healed Kennedy's foot.

Afton glitched to a bright pink with blood stains all over him. His eyes were a shining red and he held a sharp glitching knife.

Jack blinked. This again? Henry wasn't going to give up, was he? Jack hugged Afton." Look Henry, can you leave Afton alone? You won't ressurect and you definitely won't win. Bye now~"
William turned to his normal form." Sportsy....*Deep heavy breath* Sportsy... I-"
"He's gone, Afton. And as long as I'm around, he won't return."
"Did you need something, 'The Eagle'? You said that you needed to speak to me." Abi posted the final crumbs of her energy bar into her mouth and opened her laptop and notes, copying it down to her hard drive before waiting for 'The Eagle' to reply.
"Arceus.. the god of all Pokemon. The creator. It's incredible.." Blue let a smile warm her face, shaking Venomania's hand before she raised her hand to ask Arceus a question. She seemed kind and so did Clara but Blue wanted to have answers to her question: Where in all dimensions, worlds and universes were they? Blue wanted to know, though she was intrigued by her new surrounds and pleased to not be stuck on an island any longer, no matter how pretty it may be.
She raised her hand too, just before Jack asked his question. Then she decided that Arceus might explain and that it was best to listen and ask questions after. Arceus was a god after all. Blue pulled down her hand.

Shaking his head back and forth with a dawning horror that he had been brought back to life, recompleted with the sick and twisted purpose of having to go through all that trauma again, Setchi took a step back nearly bumping into a few of the other gathered sacrifices. He didn’t want this, he didn’t want to go through the pain and agony again. He wouldn’t be led astray by another god claiming to want children to save the world. He wouldn’t. Not again. Never again.
But first, he had to get out of here. Before it was too late and he would be dragged into another death trap
Staring at Jirachi, Sho turned back around to plunk in data. “Hallucinogenic… Auditory and visual… cognitive impairment within an hour of injection…” he muttered as he typed, logging in the adverse side effects of the new drug that had replaced his blood. Not uncommon considering the nature of their job and their current obsessions, but it wasn’t ideal. What was weird for Sho was that the illusion took the form of a legendary wish grantee, the complete and utter antithesis to Sho himself. Saving the world, that was what he was already doing, channeling his research into the creation of new Pokémon species. Ones that would better the world in every way that could be imagined. Perhaps that was what this hallucination was, a reflection of his deepest desires taken physical form. An odd way of going about it but Sho knew that his coworkers were all nutcases. Even the sane ones.
His words echoed in her mind, reminding her of the walls he had built around himself and the reluctance he had shown to trust or be trusted. The pain of rejection stung more than she cared to admit. She had tried to extend a hand of friendship, to offer a listening ear, but it seemed that the darkness in his past had left him closed off to any semblance of connection. Logically, she should let it go. It wasn't her fault that he refused to make an effort.
As she reentered the laboratory, her eyes fell upon a cup of coffee that someone had left for Quentin. Araceli, the witch. Only she could brew such and aromatic and strong brew. The sight brought a mix of emotions. Quentin, her enigmatic and tormented grandfather, had always been a source of both fascination and apprehension for her. Seeing the gesture of kindness from Araceli reminded her that despite the secrets and dark experiments that surrounded them, there were still glimpses of compassion and camaraderie in this gloomy complex.
Zaria knew that she couldn't allow anything to deter her. She had made a promise to herself to embrace her past and use her talents for the greater good. She suited up, and ducked through the cellophane flap back into the quarantine zone. Quentin was bent back over the microscope, his lab goggles slightly askew.
"There's coffee outside the qz if you want," Zaria said, shuffling the notes he had meticulously been taking.
"Your brew?" He sighed, as if standing up an answering her was the hardest thing in the world.
"Araceli's."
He rolled his eyes, but still moved to leave to get the caffeine.
As she resumed her work, her thoughts kept drifting to Rai. She needed to talk to her friend and try to make sense of it all.
~~~
Rai's tall boots brought her to the heart of the laboratory, a sprawling complex of interconnected rooms and chambers. The sterile scent of chemicals hung in the air, a reminder of the groundbreaking research that took place within these walls. It was a place of brilliance and innovation, but also a place of secrets and shadows.
Rai paused for a moment, her gaze sweeping across the laboratory. High-tech equipment lined the walls, each piece a marvel of engineering and science. Computer screens flickered with data and analysis, capturing the essence of what it meant to be a part of "The Eyes's" Organization. The lab was a hub of activity, scientists and researchers immersed in their work, each driven by their pursuit of knowledge and power. She dropped her haul of food on the center table, wordlessly. She knew that much like a hot dog dropped on a city block, there would be nothing left by the end of the day, the paper bags picked clean by the hungry scientists.
She continued her journey, her steps guided by instinct as she descended into the depths of the complex. The air grew cooler, and the light dimmed, leading her to the basement level. It was a place rarely frequented by the majority, reserved for the most specialized and secretive of research.
The basement laboratory was a stark contrast to the rest of the complex. Gone were the blinding lights and pristine surfaces; here, shadows danced along the walls, and the air held a hint of mystery. The walls were adorned with esoteric symbols and intricate diagrams, a testament to the presence of the enigmatic scientist-witch, Araceli.
But instead of going in, she sat outside of the door in a dusty chair. Rai was in a corner of the sub-terrainean level, her back against cool bricks. She opened her messenger bag, taking out the paperback she was halfway through. Romance novels were Rai's guilty pleasure, and this was where she spent most of her breaks. Araceli never complained, and that was good enough for her.
My current RP work:
he groaned, banging his head against the wall, immediately regretting it.
he jumped back, rubbing his forehead.
"Why the fxck did I..."
he muttered quietly.
He exited his office. He needed to get moving. Two weeks of doing nothing but working and playing music made his thoughts wander to places he'd promised himself not to go.
He started walking through the halls, quietly, his hands in his pockets.
He pulled out his phone.
Of course, his phone was encrypted and untraceable.
He pulled open the spreadsheet, searching for abnormalities in the conditions of the other scientists' pokemon.
He wandered the halls quietly, just... walking. He'd rid himself of all sharp objects that could possibly tempt him to just press it against his wrists and...
...no.
No, he had to stop thinking.
As he walked, he hummed quietly.
He started to make his way down, to the underground levels.
He had his attention solely focused on his phone, clicking through the spreadsheet, carefully looking for abnormalities.
He glanced up, looking around him.
He blinked a few times.
"...this is... near the mad witch's laboratory..."
He then continued whistling, a haunting, slow tune.
Magnus was walking toward her, his footsteps echoing through the otherwise quiet corridor. He seemed lost in his own thoughts, completely unaware of Rai's presence. The confusion in her mind grew as she wondered why he was heading down to the basement.
As he drew nearer, Rai's curiosity shifted to a momentary panic. Her romance novel was still in her hands, and she quickly realized that he might see it. Her heart raced as she fumbled to discreetly slip the book into her bag. She didn't want to be caught reading something so incongruous with her image as "The Electrocutioner." Once the novel was safely tucked away, Rai took a deep breath and tried to regain her composure. She greeted him with a friendly nod, trying to hide any traces of embarrassment that might linger on her face.
"Hey there," she said, her voice sounding matter-of-fact as she tried to shake off her momentary unease. "I think I've seen you around once or twice. You're Magnus, right? I'm Rai. Nice to meet you."
He blinked a few times.
"....uh, yeah. Hi."
He glanced around.
"Yep. I'm Magnus. Magnus Exitor. That... is me."
He seemed... just a little bad with people.
"I'll... get on my way. Go back to, uh, reading whatever you were reading. Yep. bye."
He backed away, his resting scowl darkening slightly.
As she made her way back down (the exact same path she did going up), she looked around. At first, the Conscience objected to have her part of the lab be underground. She enjoyed sunlight and fresh air just as any other human. But after a while, she pretended to not care. And soon, pretending became reality. Especially since she was ensured that, in exchange, she could modify and decorate the entire subterranean level of the facility. And it shows:
The walls used to be cement grey... before Araceli painted them in diagrams, chemical jargon or arcane-looking symbols. Sometimes papers were stapled into the wall, whenever she corrected a compound or calculation. Now, they look like an odd art piece. Dull grey, enhanced by at least twelve different marker colors and brands. It does not help that the lights above were older, giving the whole floor a more sinister and gloomy vibe. It still sufficed to read and see where you were going but it was nothing like the energy-saving blinding lights that the upper floors had. With interior designing like this, it is no wonder everyone called her a witch.
The door of the staircase opens and swings open, as Araceli and her Tsareena enter the lower levels of the lab. She sees both visitors, though one of them was about to leave. After a brief exchange with her sentient mangosteen, the witch waves at Magnus first, since he was closer. "It's not often I see you outside the lab, End." She referred to him by his title. It felt... appropriate. "Less on my floor. What brings me the honor?" She said, her accent slightly slipping.
Reina, her Tsareena, meanwhile, ran past Magnus and to Raiden, handing out an energy bar. That... seems to be on-brand, Araceli wanted to use the vending machines as little as possible. So whenever she did... she ends up buying at least five or six bars minimum.
You know the first rule in combat? shoot them before they shoot you.
Magnus seemed confused.
"I was looking for abnormalities in my program, and I ended up here while trying to distract myself."
He sighed quietly.
"I'm... I should probably go..."
Magnus laughed awkwardly, his resting scowl still present.
Magnus's scowl faded, smiling genuinely, if only for a moment.. He took the energy bar, staring at it. He opened it, equite literally inhaling it.
"...I just realized I haven't eaten in... two days."
He stared at the empty wrapper.
"...I really need to take better care of myself..."
"...having a full stomach makes me feel odd."
Magnus sighed quietly.
"Well, thank you for the food. Would you mind if I wandered around here for a short while?"
Magnus brushed his hair out of his eyes.
"I need to move around for a bit."
He turned to face her. "I'm sorry if I interrupted, miss. My curiosity took the better of me."
William hugged Jack. "Your vocabulary is really good, Sportsy. Do you eat books for a living?"
"Afton, you should know this. Me and Bendy live with you!" Kennedy laughed at this. "No, I eat... Well..... Whatever you find for us....."
A shiver went through Jack as he remembered the previous year.... Him dying.... Beast Bendy getting out of control..... The apartment getting exploded.......
All those memories....
All that blood.
"Yeah, nice to meet you too, Magnus Exitor," Rai replied, offering a somewhat reserved smile. She could sense that he was a bit uneasy and she didn't want to add to his discomfort, but she couldn't help but feel a touch of ruthlessness in her curiosity. After all, she was known as "The Electrocutioner" for a reason, and her reputation for being assertive and determined often preceded her.
As he mentioned going back to reading her book, Rai hesitated for a moment. She wanted to talk to Magnus, to understand more about the person behind the facade, but she didn't want to push him if he wasn't ready. She sensed that he was the type who preferred to keep to himself, and she respected that.
However, there was also a part of her that didn't want him to reveal her secret. As "The Electrocutioner," Rai had carefully crafted her tough and mysterious persona, and she wasn't ready for that to be jeopardized. She decided to tread carefully, indirectly hinting at her desire for discretion.
"Actually, I was just taking a break," Rai said, her voice composed and a touch more assertive. "But it's nice to have some company down here for a change."
She let the words hang in the air for a moment, hoping he would pick up on the underlying message. She didn't want to be too explicit, but she also wanted to make sure he understood that there were certain things she preferred to keep private.
Clearly, Magnus was not one for social cues.
I mean, he spent more time playing his guitar than talking to humans, after all.
He sounded slightly unsure of himself, his resting scowl back on his face.
