Hi there, I recently have collected enough gems to exchange with the gem collector for a toxel egg, but it gives me an error saying "Sorry, I can't give you this type of egg!" I have a toxtricity in my pokedex too, I hatched a toxel egg, but it still gives me that error everyday. I know this has been an issue a few years ago, but I still have no idea how to fix it. Thanks in advance!

The funny thing is that I can exchange gems for other pokemon, but not toxel. I also bought few pokemon and I tried to exchange with the gem collector, but I am able to recieve the egg. I think this topic was brought up 7 years ago, and people have been talking about it, but there was no clear solution to the issue. Has anyone else experienced this?

just adding on that this thread reports a similar issue with tyrogue, but it might be fixed since CatLady did a tyrogue hunt with gems a while back

Yes I read that too, but thing is that I had toxel and toxtricity, and I was able to buy all the others.

I was able to trade some Gems for a Toxel Egg, so it's not the Gem Exchange/Collector itself that is bugged.

Yes, that's the thing, I am able to exchange for other eggs like I mentioned last page, and I asked others around too, and they said they could recieve it. I think this issue is for some people?

hmm, maybe you could list some users who were able to redeem one? it's alright if you don't want to, but it might help determine what's causing the issue for you

Well, mostly the admins were able to. One of my friend irl logged online and tried, because he has hatched a toxel before, and it also worked. He asked other friends to do it too, few had only toxtricity but were able to get the egg

What happens is that for tyrogue for some reason didnt considered its evos as part of their line, for getting tyrogue eggs, you needed a tyrogue, probably since is a split evolution. Maybe is the same with toxtricity

I did have a toxel but it evolved into a toxtrcity low key

I think this is the solution to this issue. I have just bought a toxel, and I got the same egg from the gem collector. The pokemon of the egg must be there and should have not evolved yet. Thanks to everyone trying to help me! :DD Have a good day!

Just try refreshing the page and look for 718. It should be there if you have the pokemon, and it hasn't evolved yet

@Shadow_Zekrom : You need to unlock the Zygarde Quest first.. before you can exchange gems for Zygarde eggs.

@hananirvana : You can't search it from those options.. since it is gotten in a "different" way than getting your Toxel egg, etc.
