She tilted her head. "You're so cute..." She repeated what he said, directing it back at him blankly. Her clouds were tinged with slight yellows and pinks.

Oh no. He got water in his face :( but he was being so nice to her. So she used her clouds to soak up the water, carrying them back to the one who spit it in his face. "Mean..."

Yuriko was sitting at a table, on her own. She had never been a fan of noise or clamour, and certainly didn't need any. Someone from Siren, probably it's prefect, was doing... something with some other people. Yuriko returned her gaze back to her book, she needed to do well in this term, Artemis wouldn't be happy if Frost Dragon house didn't do well, Yuriko liked Artemis as a person, he was the prefect, and she admired him for it. As Yuriko continued to read and noted down stuff onto a notebook, Kendo, the prefect of the Siren house, got splashed with salt water, a small commotion broke out and Yuriko sighed, why couldn't she study in peace? She packed her things and stood up, passing Kendo and giving him a cold stare, and she headed back to the west wing where she hoped to be able to study in peace.

(No she does not like Artemis in that way)

Her clouds returned to a neutral white and she stared at Kendo, then at Jack. She was still holding her. It felt nice. The maids at home would pretend not to see her and let her fall.

As if on cue.

"hey, everyone!"

Someone else was talking this time. Kendo sighed, as he started to run off in the direction of the prefect's table.

"One moment, sorry, guys! I'll check in with you after th-"

And there he disappeared. The Phoenix House's prefect seemed to have gotten the mic.

"So, lookie here, this feast is pretty much over, ye- Hey! kendo, please, just let me be the MC for one d-"

A scuffle broke out for a moment, then Kendo was back with the mic.

"anyways, back to announcements."

Kendo was back on the mic.

"Usually, as most of you guys know, the dean would be doing all this stuff, but the professors aren't here yet, so..."

kendo clapped.

"Everything is over! You're done eating! everyone, get in a SINGLE FILE line in front of the mess hall doors according to your assigned houses. Single File. No blowing chairs up. That means you, Ramona."

Oh. It was over now. That was... Unfortunate. She got out of Jack's grasp and thanked her again for catching her, staying by her. She didn't want to be like the others. She wanted to be with the nice and funny prefects.

Yuriko was just about to leave the hall when Kendo's voice called for everyone to line up, she sighed and shook her head. Clutching her books to her chest, she walked to the Frost Dragon houses line, after giving a few people who tried to push her cold looks, she selected another book, put on her glasses and started to read in the middle of the line.

Jack rolled her eyes at Kendo's usual antics. Poor Artemis had to deal with him every year without fail.

"Sera, did you expect me to let you fall?" She winked. "See you around, dear." Jack have one final fluff to Sera's clouds, before lining up, elbowing her way to the front.

The Quetzalcoatl perfect spot was conspicuously empty. Giving one final glare to the position, she stepped into line, vowing that she would fill it soon.

It was never meant to be.
