It was as if the rift understood Sobbles words.
It widened further, moving towards the Heroes and pushing the skeletons back.

Fortevera briefly opened her eyes. She saw the large rift and stepped back a bit, closing her eyes to pretend she was somewhere else again. The skeletons were indestructible but she could waste their time some more by hitting them. Then, as the rift grew, the Alraunians moves finally had enough knockback.

Some of the skeletons she fought flew into the rift.

You know the first rule in combat? shoot them before they shoot you.

Strangely, the skeletons seemed to dissolve as they reached the rim of the rip.
They turned into flakely white ashes, which floated into a harmless heap on the floor.

Still, the rip grew.
It seemed to be generating its own gravitational field as well.
Skeletons were being sucked into it, only to turn into ashes.

Fortevera kept fighting, though as soon as she felt a weird pulling force that drags her away, she countered it by taking a few steps back. Still, undeads and no life prevent her from opening those eyes...

"AH! The skeleton just turned into ashes when they touched that portal. I'm going to see what I should do. So we can either get repeatedly slapped by skeletons that keep regenerating at an alarming pace. That will probably hurt us quite a bit, or we can go into that rift that is turning into an entire portal that has an intense gravitational pull. We don't know what it leads to, it could lead to death, safety or something in between. It seems like it's one of the only options right now. What do you guys think, Vinebeast Tom? Timothy?" They nod and look towards the rift, growing in size and gravitational pull getting stronger every second sucking in its surroundings. "Welp it seems like I have no option." Sobble walks towards the portal, committed with his decision to walking in the portal. He feels his steps getting lighter and lighter as he stepped into the portal. "Cya."

Sobble emerged into the cavern.
It was cold.
Quiet.
And most notably, completely dark.

The shadows were tangible, wrapping around your limbs, an inky blackness threatening to drown you.
The silence had sound, a suffocating, heavy kind of sound.
The air was icy, a dozen frozen fingertips poking at your skin.

Yet you could feel hope.
Weak, fragile, thin hope.
But hope all the same.

It radiated from the far end of the cavern.

Yuna pushed the skeletons into the rift and as she did with her water magic went inside the bubble she created, “I’m out of here”, Yuna said. Soon, she went to the cavern and she was joined by another tourist who was already there. Yuna got out of the bubble and this time around she used her electric magic to bring light into the cavern as it was dark and gloomy.

Realizing that the light was gone, Yuna had to think carefully about another idea, she combined the magic of ice and electric to create a prism of light, "Come on, this has to work", so she used the electric and ice magic to stop the rip. "There I hope this works", Yuna said as she halted her electric and ice magic to rest up, then she started to run as fast as she could.

Fortevera did not walk in. Actually, her eyes were shut and she ended up in the cavern when doing one of her moves to obliterate the skeletons. She felt the coldness, but did not register yet that it was dark. She did her best to pull free of whatever was grabbing her though. "What do we do now..?"

Yuna looked at Fortevera, "If there's a map somewhere in the cavern, Fortevera then it will be easier for us tourists to get out of this cavern", Yuna said in a serious tone. She used her electric magic to bring in the light at the cavern, in hopes that the tourists can find the map that will lead them out of the cavern.

"Aughhhhhhhh where is this place? For the least I can't see any skeletons or undead entities." Sobble looks around, Tom, Timothy and Vinebeast have made it safely back with Sobble. "I'm glad that you two came safely through the hole, I wonder what's going to happen in here." Sobble looks around and sees another individual.

Yuna continued to find the map that will lead to the exit of the cavern, but to Yuna's surprise as she grabbed the stone plate, flying bats appeared and Yuna shouted, "Everyone, duck for cover bats are incoming", Yuna ducked as she sees the bats flying by.

After the bats flew off, Yuna grabbed the scroll which ended up being the map to the exit of the cavern, "I finally got the map that will lead to the exit of the cavern", Yuna said with relief. As she rolled up the map, she sees that there is lots of things going on, "All I can see is the pathway to the exit of the cavern as well as some interesting rooms such as the medicine room and many others", Yuna said.

Eris looked about, confused. Where had the rift led? Were the others with her??

Marina hopped from foot to foot when she accidentally entered the rift. She had been nervous about entering the rift after seeing what it did to the skeletons. Some more decay was her reward for going through. Seemed the rift only caused severely exposed bone to disintegrate...

Slowly but surely, a ray of light was growing in a far corner of the room.
It flickered dangerously, and almost went out many times, but each time it came back.

Yuna looked at the map but after seeing the ray of light growing, she wonders where it is coming from, "Where is this light coming from?", Yuna searched high and low in finding the source of the ray of light, she ran as fast as she could to find it but soon enough her search has lead her to another piece of the map, "Another piece of the map?! What's going on here?", Yuna asked.
