Giving Theo a thin smile, Bora took the drinks and left as quickly as it came. The topic of romance, while not unfamiliar made envy boil in its stomach. How nice it must be to be able to think about such things and live a life where work was actually fun. The dirtiest really had their favourites and apparently Bora just wasn't one of them

(I’ll keep being in the rp just not the palpad for reasons idk if I want to explain)

Inside the coffee shop, Ori glanced around, noticing the others. He grunted to himself, hovering a bit to a corner. Maybe if he was over there, nobody would pay him any mind. As soon as he was there, Ori kept his gaze lowered, his hair covering his eyes a bit, but the misty-white features obviously showed out a lot.

"My name’s Milo. I’m a Gym Leader and rather partial to Grass-type Pokémon."

(my phone deleted my words three times, but here's my first post finally)

The door opened with an audible chime, a red-haired woman peering into the building as she came inside, closing the umbrella and shutting the door quietly. Bernadette sighed silently, slouching forward as she yawned into her hand. She had worked overtime due to a co-worker not showing up for their shift, and unfortunately came home late, much to her displeasure. It wasn't uncommon for her to work overtime, but she had college classes this morning. Her professors weren't to pleased, and she'd noted she'd probably be receiving a lecture, but they understood. She's rather happy she'd managed to find a coffee shop nearby, however, seeing as she'd have some time to relax before the next class. Bernadette glanced at the people inside, down casting her gaze as she sauntered to the counter. She smiled politely, nodding her head in a silent greeting. "I'd love some green tea with a bit of lemon, please." She opened her wallet, waiting to pay the due amount.

"Alright. Another thing of hot chocolate, and green tea with lemon!" He said, nodding and smiling towards the newcomer, then walking back to the machine.

The rain outside seemed to only get heavier and heavier as the morning went on, the soft pitter patter of the rain eventually getting louder and louder.

"Yeah, seems like the rain probably won't cease for a bit." Theo muttered in response, and his smile faltered for a second. "Well..." He snickered a little bit. "It's always been some sorta fantasy of mine, to just settle down and do something chill. My first idea was a library, but that would cost a lot more, so I decided on this humble coffee shop. I would, sometime soon, like to visit my hometown again." He spoke as he worked the machine, smiling at some old memories.

"Oh, it's not too far...not out of country, atleast. But it'd cost a lot for gas, and also my family would probably cling to me and won't let me leave for a week. Plus, driving there takes over a day, and airplanes just cost too much." He said, sighing a bit. "Least I can do is call my family, atleast."

Bernadette turned toward the windows, watching as the rain hit the glass. She'd silently listened along to the current conversation, her gaze unfocused. She jolted slightly at the violent crackle of lightning, shaking her head, and reaching for her tea. "Thank you," she hands the due amount of money to the barista, turning around to sit at a nearby table. She stared distracted at her warm beverage, sighing as she took a sip.
