Mi Mi looked over at the dark moon rising. She slowly stroked her
pet cat, Orchid, and sighed. Being in the Afterlife wasn't as fun
as being alive. The food wasn't very good, and she wanted to feel
the warm sun on her skin and a fresh breeze making her long hair
unravel from its loose braid. Mi Mi really wished that she had
chosen to leave the Afterlife. But it was home. Well, at least it
is now. She couldn't leave the Afterlife without her friends too.
She would miss them too much. Mi Mi just sighed again and decided
to go to bed. She set Orchid down, and slowly walked over to her
soft, pink bed. At least the beds were decent in the Afterlife. She
closed her eyes and went to sleep. She then woke up a few minutes
later. She was still against sleeping, considering that she was
murdered in her sleep. But in the end, she reluctantly fell back
asleep.
Hi I'm 𝔸𝕝𝕡𝕙𝕒𝕎𝕠𝕝𝕗𝟚𝟞
You can call me anything you want :D
"Sorry, but I didn't know that could happen. Anyways, we don't want
to be late, do we?" Athena carefully wiped the blood off and handed
Julius some bandages. She headed in the direction of the
restaurant.
“WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DIDN'T KNOW THAT COULD HAPPEN. AND HOW DO I
GRAB THESE BANDAGES WITH NO ARMS. WHY ARE YOU WALKING AWAYYYYYY!”
Julius shrieked as he ran after Athena.
Lucinda felt Kaori fall unconscious, she flew to the window and
right through. She laid Kaori on the bathroom mat, she attempted to
clean the wound nest she could. Right, there’s a medicine shop
right down the street she thought and quickly made a trip
there. She got some water and pain killers, mixed them and fed it
to Kaori, it was hard. Then she got some chlorophyll for Kaori to
smell, her pulse softened and she was asleep. Lucinda sighed, now
it’s the moment she hated most. The dagger. She put on some gloves
and got bandages prepared on the side. She put some ‘special doctor
cleaning things’ [idk what it’s called] over the edges of the wound
and prepared herself. 3, 2, 1. she reached in and pulled the
dagger out slowly. Blood came flooding past and she quickly dropped
the dagger, she reached for a towel and soaked it in warm water.
The held the towel on the wound and the blood slowly decreased.
Then she put some [random healing ointments docs use] onto Kaori’s
wound and then bandaged if. Lucinda sat back, relieved and kinda
satisfied with herself.
Athena rolled her eyes and helped Julius reattach his arms. "Stop
shrieking like a two year old! Besides, it's never happened before,
at least not that I know of."
Julius chuckled as he watched Athena try reattach his arms. Once he
finished giggling, the blood fell off his arms and into dust. He
wiggles his fingers and laughed again. “Illusions.” He happily
skipped beside Athena.
‘What’s wrong now?’ Julius thought. He shook Athena a little bit.
“Hey crazy, what’s up with you?” He stared at her frozen body and
decided to cloak them in an illusion so that no one could
interfere.
"Wait." Lucinda. And Kaori. Kaori's thoughts were very soft.
Something was wrong. Tracing the thoughts, she looked up at the
hotel. No time for a proper entrance, Athena spread her wings and
flew through the window.
“Wait. When did you have wings???” Julius runs inside the building,
cloaking himself and sneaking past reception. Carefully, Julius
looks for the rooms near where he saw the window and sneaks into
each of them. Finally finding the right room, Julius looks around
at the winged girl, the bandaged girl, the tired looking girl and
the bloodied dog. “Ahh! Demon doggggg. It’s a vampire!!!”
"It's a cat." Athena rushed over to Kaori. Her friend's mind was
fading, very very fast. Pressing her fingers to her temples, Athena
reached into Kaori's mind. It was just spiralling darkness. But
there was a tiny glimpse of light, at the end of a very very very
long dark tunnel.
“Geez, here comes the interfering Julius. Seriously can’t you tell
between a cat and a dog? Or did your illusions get to your head?”
Lucinda asked and stood up hastily as Athena came flying in and
Julius opened the hotel door. “And Kaori is just asleep Athena,
she’s going to be fine, at least she won’t die” she muttered
the last part
Taro twitched with worry. Because Lucinda has been working on
Kaori, he was unable to run over and check on her. But now that
Lucinda was done, he ran right up to Kaori and started ‘fussing’
with worry. Rubbing his muzzle on her neck, he purred with so much
worry and emotion. Tears starting to leak out, extreme anxiety and
worry, he was quite a mess.

Taro gratefully accepted Lucinda’s support as he looked down
worriedly at Kaori. She was lying so still, and is so pale. She
looked almost dead, even if she was sleeping. he thought as he
started licking his paw anxiously.

Athena took a deep breath and followed the tunnel. It spiralled
down and down, and down some more. Leading her into an abyss of
tangled thoughts punctuated by occasional pain. The tiny pocket of
light was just out of reach, slowly dimming. Taking a dive towards
it, she found herself pulled back by a net of darkness.
Lucinda wondered what Athena was doing, she patted Taro with a paw
and gently stroked him (a cat stroking another?) and turned back to
human. “Kaori should be awake by now…” Lucinda said uncertainly.
Surely Kaori isn’t deD. She walked up to her and checked her pulse,
it was weak but steady. She cupped her hand in some water from the
tap and splashed it all onto Kaori’s face
After what felt like eternity, Athena finally slipped free of the
net. The light was only a flickering glow now. Falling towards it,
Athena landed in a tiny nook, warm and bright. Kaori's conciousness
had to be around here somewhere... Searching every inch of the
space, transmitting over and over again, Kaori just wasn't here.
Kaori felt a REALLY painful thing slap her face. For some reason,
that awfully terrible pain had awoken her, and her eyes fluttered
open. She was lying down on some type of hard floor, and she
actually didn’t see anything sticking out of her gut!
Looking around her, at an awful angle, she saw Taro, Lucinda, and
Athena. Reaching out for Taro, she managed to mutter “Blegh-
Lucinda, what is this foul taste in my mouth?!”
