Servus jumped back. The sudden sounds of footsteps behind him tore him out of his daze. He turned and came face to face with a girl who had rippling blue hair and the deepest red eyes he'd ever seen. What was a civilian doing out here? "Hey! You need to turn around and head to safety. There's a rampaging Ames and you're a little too close to the action."

Her red eyes continued to burrow into him. She surveyed him up and down. "And you have some special permission to be here? I'm assuming you're part of whatever vigilante organization that is" she says, pointing to the remnants of the Lightchasers' impromptu meeting. Servus nods, "We're the Lightchasers. And who on Earth could you be."

She looks him in the eyes with a glare that betrays nothing. "Does it really matter? Your Lightchasers have scattered and you're still here talking to me. Are you waiting for your Vie, perchance, or just slow?"

He sneers in disgust. "Yeah, it does matter. Who are you, and what are you doing here. I got a job to do, and you're getting on my nerves." Servus flicks his wrist, pulling the dagger out of his sleeve. The blade was dull from years of use, but quick reflexes and pure determination mostly made up for it. "I'm not asking again." He gripped the hilt, twisting his fingers around it, awaiting an answer.

She lifted an eyebrow in a semblance of amusement, but raised her hands in surrender nonetheless. A corner of her mouth quirked upward in an odd attempt at a half-smile. "Some hero you are if you go around threatening civilians. And what job do you have to do, exactly? Because nothing you're doing is preventing them" She added, pointing to the figure who was fast approaching their building. "Lovely chat, but you really should pick a new building, considering this one will soon be dust." With that, she wandered over to the edge, never breaking eye contact or lowering her hands. "You can call me Robin. pleased to make your acquaintance." She gently tipped over the edge of the building and fell without a word.

Servus stood, stunned, before rushing to the edge. Who was she? Why'd she just jump off the building? He almost launched himself over as he searched the alley below. Nothing. Her body disappeared. A ghost in the wind. That girl was up to something. There was no time to think about it now. He leapt off the building, spinning into a roll and collapsing on the floor. "Ow.." he groaned.

Servus tucked the stolen apple into his jacket. He might've been a Lightchaser but his old ways always managed to appear. He walked away from the clueless vendor with a noticeable grin on his face. He escaped the scene and pulled the apple out as soon as he got out of sight. He bit into the crisp flesh, golden juice dribbling. Yup. he thought, It's a good day for me.

An explosion. Except, it wasn't. A shattering boom echoed through the thin streets. Smoke billowed in the distance, erupting in curls of black. And then chaos. People screaming, rushing past him. They were desperate, near feral to escape the scene. They clearly knew something bad was happening. Servus had seen people walk the streets casually when the streets were flooded from week long rainstorms. This was bad.

People rushed out of buildings like a tsunami, a rhythmic pattern. Until two people ruined that. They ran against the wave, pushing through towards the explosions and smoke. Other Lightchasers? He probably should've instantly recognised them but honestly? He'd couldn't be bothered socialising. He took off after them but the surges of people meant he lagged behind. Wait. He thought to himself. If i get on the rooves, I'll be able to get there faster! He dropped the apple and rushed to some boxes, then hopping on to a store sign and finally squirming up some bay windows.

From above, he was able to better observe the scene. Smoke and ash clouded the sky, while shingles and bricks crowded the ground. He started running (technically stumbling), heading towards where the streets were most empty, the fumes were the greatest and trying to relocate where those two Lightchasers had ran off to.

[Some while later]

Servus listened from above, crouched on a roof. He'd hoped to make a grand entrance dropping from the rooftop. Unfortunately, he'd underestimated the difficulty of jumping and sprinting on slippery rooftops. His late arrival meant he was only able to hear, '-- control. Fan out—chart the destruction, predict the Ame’s path. If you find civilians, get them clear.' 'Code 9,' he muttered to himself. 'Now it's interesting.'

Servus tried to work as independently as possible. He has a fight now think later approach which doesn't work half the time but has kept him alive for the past few years. He's thinks quickly and can adapt fast. He's loyal but never gets too close to a person. He hates to bring up his past and is slightly self-conscious because of it.

Dark hair, kind of a shaggy mullet, brown eyes, light stubble, one pierced ear (no actual piercing). He always wears this cracked leather jacket that reaches to his knees. 5'10.

[Backstory]
He was adopted by Vies as a child but was never really treated as one of their kids, more like a friend and sometimes a servant. At 17, he killed his parents, escaping their home and the guards at night. Him and a Vies who he had befriended and convinced to escape with him made it into the forest and robbed passing adventurers, traveling carts and other people who wandered down into the forest. When the Vies died in a robbery gone wrong, he fled and traveled into random cities, silently stealing, jumping from place to place. He couldn't afford to settle down, with small bounties accumulating on his head in every city he visited.

[Powers]
-Servitude-
When activated, Servus plants down his quarterstaff, creating a forcefield around him. Nothing gets in or out. While it is active, people inside will get SLIGHTLY increased healing. Each time this forcefield is hit, Servus feels a bit of the strike. If hit too many times, the forcefield will drop and then IDK havoc. It lasts a maximum on 5 minutes.

Whenever his power or loyalties or something like that are questioned, he'll always feel compelled to fight, like McFly getting called chicken.

Julius frowned. He saw someone go past the corner of his eye and he dodged backwards, sticking out an arm. A scientist threw a useless punch, leaping headfirst into Julius's fist. He shook his head at Athena who was trying to beat up the rest of these people. A fake gun formed in his hand and he pointed it at the scientists. "Ight. We're doing this the hard way or my way. On the wall." He handed the imaginary mic over to Athena and laid back on the wall, finger gripping the fake trigger.

Julius jumps at the sound. "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!" Julius plants a quick kick into Ace's stomach, launching him onto the car door. "WHO THE H3LL ARE YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU??!??!?!!??!" Julius screams and starts obliterating Ace's face with his fists. "GET OUUUUUUT!!!!" Julius launches his shoe into Ace's face, launching him out the car door. "Wah... wha? What the h3II am I gonna do with COORDINATES?! JEEZ." Julius sat down and looked around. He waved goodbye to Taro and jumped down the stairs to reception. "Hey..." Julius quickly attacked her with illusions. Spiders and snakes started squirming around the reception lady and Julius finally got access to a computer. Doing a quick search, he found out where to go and left, making all the illusions disappear and getting into a cab.

"Just passing by." He turned to the scientist that had just entered. Julius turned back to Athena. "Have fun." He turned invisible, sneaking past the scientist. He started to walk to the main cell area when he heard shots, making him jump down to the ground. The three members must have found an area to attack from. He could hear cries of the police and guards and winced. An injured guard stumbled towards him, bleeding from his arm. Julius held his breath as the guard rushed past him toward somewhere he was going.
