In the kingdom of Elpax, juveniles must walk through the mysterious Crossing Gate to become adults. But the crossing day goes horribly wrong. The gate snaps in half, and the government accuses you and your friends of rebellion.
There's tons of rules in place for juveniles. You can't get a full-fletched job; you can, however, work small jobs. There's forbidden words, and you can't go out at night past a specific time. You can't fall in love. You're not even supposed to know what the word 'love' means.
You have two lines on your arm, which acts like an ID. The two lines represent you're a juvenile. But when the gate gives you half a line and mysteriously breaks, what are you supposed to do?
Easy. Run from the government.
