Welcome one and all to Dominic Lucarini's villa mansion. You have been generously invited to an amazing party, the likes of which this city has never seen. Do you see the jugglers and jesters, hear the jazz combo's music? Do you taste the amazing food served to you by the most professional waiters in the city? Don't forget to tip them well, they might give you some interesting dirt in exchange…

Who are you? Well, you all are actors, politicians, and all of the famous folks of the city. And who am I? Why, I'm Roxanne Ritchi, of course, only the most trusted reporter, and liaison to the Lucarini Family.

But the ten of you are the most special and powerful guests. You see, the Don has called you into his private chambers for the main event: a political takeover of the entire city. I'm here of course in my capacity as trusted advisor, but you ten are the ones who will change the world. But some of you are… unhappy with this proposition. And now the Mafia are playing a deadly real life game of Mafia.

In Mafia, "villager" players need to unmask the Mafia members and eliminate them from the game. Usually, the game is played with 10 people: 5 villagers, 1 detective, 1 doctor and 3 Mafia members. The game is played in day and night cycles. During the night cycle, the Mafia members must come to a consensus to kill one player. The doctor chooses one person to "save" that cannot die (even if the Mafia "kills" that person, they will not die). The detective chooses one person to "investigate" and find out if they are on the side of the villagers. During the day, surviving players talk and try to figure out who the evil Mafia are. They can vote up to one person out each day cycle. I will play the Don, and Reporter Roxanne Ritchi, and update you all on the events of the night.

You will be assigned roles randomly once all ten slots are filled. DO NOT REVEAL YOUR ROLES TO ANYONE. This game only works if everyone adheres to this rule. Yes, there may come a point where you turn to the person next to you and say "I'm a villager, what about you?" BUT THAT TIME HAS NOT YET COME!

The Mafia = Undercover Anarchists, Whistle-blowers, Contract Killers, anyone with a reason for not wanting the Don's plan to go through.

The Villagers = Guests who want the plan to go through, defenseless against the killers.

The Doctor = Someone who has slyly trained in first aid on the side.

The Detective = The sneakiest of them all… creeps around in the dead of night with disregard for their own life.

1. Hate the characters, not the players. Be respectful.
2. Romance at a minimum… are you sure you're not lost? This is 100% the wrong genre, my friends.
3. Cursing at a minimum. Alternatives are allowed. "[Gosh darn] it!" or "[Redacted] it!" are both acceptable.
4. I am the admin. The admin is necessary to the game. Respect my power.
5. DO NOT REVEAL YOUR ROLES TO OTHER PEOPLE, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE MAFIA.
6. Any back door detective work, i.e. separate palpads and pms, are not allowed.
7. If/when you die, do not reveal any information.
You can spectate and perhaps interact with the characters as ghosts if I permit it.

Everyone will need to be in a group Palpad, make sure you are okay with this before signing up.
Character depth can be minimal.
Once the RP is full, I will randomly assign roles.
The Mafia will get a Palpad for the 3 members and me (in admin capacity), so I can monitor their kill decisions.
The doctor and detective will each be in a seperate Palpad with me so I can give them night cycle information.

Personality: Seemingly outgoing and friendly, pretty charming when she wants to be, slightly sarcastic. But even so, many people would describe her as mysterious, since she somehow manages to evade most personal questions. She can be serious on subjects she cares about, like work discussions and such.

Personality: Hope is a smooth, permanently calm presence, always piecing things together logically or fixing things to his own will. He has a tendency to be a tad manipulative or even controlling- moving every person to fit his whims of how the world should be. He isn't afraid to get his hands dirty and would go to any extent to maintain his power or control over a group and keep things the way he feels they should be. He has no qualms about cruelty or any morals regarding how he treats people. This is all true- and there's no way to say that he's a good person through all of this.
