I would like to suggest that there would be a special panel like in the index where the mentor and mentee program would be easily noticed and accessed for newer players. It would help them to be more familiar with the site features easier and be more motivated to play while they get to interact with other people. We`ll also get more addition to the growing PH community.

It would be a panel where the registered mentor`s names are listed, which could be seen at the index page. Registration could still be done at the Newbie Mentoring link for willing individuals who wanted to become mentors.

This suggestion was thought up with the new players in mind and may also be another trend for veteran players to do. Helping other players to cope up, feel welcomed and "Help new members get started!"

I’m not sure if this idea is what we need, but we definitely need something to let newbies know about mentoring. Half the newbies don’t even know how/don’t really know when to check on their pms, so it would be hard to communicate.

Yes, what we really need are helpful and accommodating regular players. I once was a newbie and never bothered asking anyone about stuffs I dont know (cause im often ignored XD). Said this before but I never knew about the mentoring program until only after 3 months of playing.

What we need are willing individuals whose names would appear on the said panel. People that newbies could talk to or ask for infos on features theyre not familiar with.

Question is, would you PP/PM a random newbie to teach them stuffs they should get familiar with? I would not do that, it would make me meddlesome. So unless they reach out after choosing a mentor on the said panel, things would get more convenient then for them. Might even make them stay after knowing how nice people are around ^^

This would make the world of Ph better, you're all so great for playing a part on the site. All users are great as much as the mods.
I'm a Sobble user, I like Sobble and pasta. Oooh, Pasta type Sobble. Yummeh, I like roleplaying as well and I'm a PH fishing addict. I like friends, right now I'm the strongest because I'm Gojo Satoru. Or am I Gojo Satoru because I'm the strongest?

I think this is a great idea and it's kind of sad that it hasn't already been made. I sort of lost interest at the start cause I didn't know what or how to play, but eventually I sort of got the hang of it. I didn't even know there was a mentoring program and I don't believe I'd ever had one help me.

I feel like we also need a making friends sort of thing, but I don't know how BC I don't have any. It's quite hard for me to talk to others so this will be really helpful for those newbies who are just like me when I started

Great idea. This is like coaching , and since im new here ofc i would agree , u can learn lots of stuff from OG's of the game.As long as the matchmacking coach/trainee is good im all for this.

I completely support this! There's a bit of a learning curve here, and it's even worse for those who have never have played Pokemon or not played in a while. Could have an "Ask a Mentor" button in an easy to notice place like on the side of the notifications page for newbies to see and their question could be sent to a mentor who is currently online.
