Umbralscar thought for a moment before nodding. "I see. I understand it will be a difficult task, but we must do what must be done." She spoke coldly and seriously. Her right ear twitched, noticing Nightwhisper's actions. "Are you okay? You don't look okay... got one of those headaches that drive you crazy? I know what thats like..." She chuckled jokingly, trying to not come off as rude.

The warrior nodded back to her, seeming like he was more relaxed now. He offered Umbralscar a pleased smile. "Good, I'm glad you think so too." He winced when the headache seemed to get more intense, but said nothing else about it. "I'll be glad when we can finally leave. When do you think everyone will be ready? I know there's kits to worry about now.."

Umbralscar looked around before answering. "Don't quote me on this, but it should be very soon. I know it will be a dangerous journey for all of us, but we are strong. We will survive." She spoke with confidence and winked at Nightwhisper. "Do you think the kits will be okay?"

Umbercloud is not the same as Umbralscar LMAO

Ivypaw walked with her mentor, Skywhisper. The warrior tom was preparing her for the mysterious quest for a new home. They had travelled to a strange clearing in the forest, but she had been blindfolded and had her nose stuffed with dandelion fluff. They had gone in many circles, and she was a little disoriented

Skywhisper looked at his young apprentice curiously. "Lead me back to camp. You cannot use the scent trail that we followed to get here." It was a simple request, but an astronomical challenge. He had been teaching Ivypaw tracking techniques; how she did today would determine whether or not she would accompany him on the quest, or remain with the clan under a new mentor. He desperately hoped she would succeed. Ivypaw was sturdy and reliable.

She sniffed the air. Evergreens, snow, rabbit (yesterday at the newest), the stream, pine sap, THE STREAM!

Ivypaw turned in the direction, and followed her nose to the stream. She gazed up at the sun, noting its position. When they emerged from the pines, she could see where they were. The two cats North of the stream, even though Ivypaw hadn't remembered crossing it. Had Skywhisper pulled some sort of trick?

She tried again to get a scent, but the smell of the rushing water was strong. If they were on the North side of the river there was only one place they could have crossed.

Ivypaw led Skywhisper to the thinnest part of the stream, and hopped across. From there, she confidently led him back to camp.

"Congratulations, Ivypaw. You will be a welcome addition to the quest."

She glowed with pride.

"I think they'll be alright. We have enough warriors around here to make sure that they're safe." He nodded confidently, raising his head a bit to catch some of the sunlight peeking through the clouds.

Umbralscar nodded in approval. "Yup. I agree." Umbralscar noticed what Nightwhisper was doing, and followed along, gazing at the peeking sunlight from the clouds. "We will escape this eternal tundra for good... I can feel it..." She whispered.

Faunakit would wake up after a while and look outside seeing that it was still snowing, per usual. She would walk over to a bush inside the nursery and check it for some non-poisonous berries. She would find none so she would walk over to Umbralscar and ask "Can you please come outside with me? I am trying to look for some berries.". She would look at Umbralscar curiously.

Firepelt, overhearing what Umbralscar and Nightwhisper were discussing, jumped in "Most of our kits and apprentices are old enough to learn. They will, and must survive." He fluffed his muzzle, he was starting to get cold. "We should go in for now, it's getting cold, and I'm sure that we're all tired," he said, and stalked a mouse, caught it, then went to the Warriors den to catch a couple Z's

Umbralscar heard a voice below her, and gazed down. It was Faunakit. She heard the kit's request, she smiled and nodded. "Of course I can go with you, young one. Do you want me to follow you, or do you want me to lay out the path for you?" She asked, standing up, getting ready to move.

Umbralscar nodded. "Come along then." She chuckled, looking back at Nightwhisper. "We will meet again." She whispered before she started showing Faunakit a place where she could find berries that are non-poisonous.

Mothcloud went to the Medicine Den, to help organize and prep the herbs before getting some rest for the new day.

Darkpaw, noticing she was alone at the moment, decided to experiment with her ability. You see, Darkpaw had Sciakinesis, or as she called it 'Shadow bending'. This meant she could manipulate and possibly create shadows. She was told about her powers in a dream, but only a little of what it meant, which meant she had to learn a lot by her own paws. For now, she used her power to step into the shadows already made in the clan to move without being seen. This allowed her to enter through the corner of the Apprentice Den without others spotting her.

Faunakit would follow Umbralscar, with a glad look on her face. "What kind of berries are these called?" She would ask curiously while observing them carefully. She would poke at them and grab one with her paw carefully, as they could explode into berry juice if she squeezed it too hard. She would stare at its shiny red color in a bit of awe since its color shined so well and looked really pretty. She would look at another (Without picking it off of the bush of course-) with a purple-ish color. "Why are some of them different colors?" She would ask looking curious.

Umbralscar smiled at Faunakit's curiosity. "Because some of them are different types of berries. The red ones are cherries, and those are blueberries. Each type of berry has a different taste." She replied, watching Faunakit carefully.

Wolfang trodded over to the medicine cat den to see MothCloud sleeping silently. He went over to the herb storage to see inside. They would need to stock up soon. Tiredly, Wolfang went over to one of the nests and lay down his head for a nap.

Snowpaw looked around. "Darkpaw! Where are you?" she yowled. She had been looking for her everywhere! Her throat started hurting from calling out so much, though. 'Might as well check the dens again' she thought. She went into the Warriors den, then the nursery, then the Apprentices den. "Darkpaw? Are you in here?" she called out, yet again, receiving no answer. Believing that Darkpaw was hiding, she decided to make her come out. She breathed in a lot of air, then blew out hard, creating an icy wind that blew through the den.

Darkpaw shifted into the shadows as Snowypaw breathed icy wind into the Apprentice Den. She carefully waited until the wind stopped before traveling next to Snowypaw and manifesting back into solid form. "Where's the battle at, Snowy?" She asked rhetorically

Faunakit would eat look at the blueberry and cherry carefully. She would split open the cherry and find something small-ish and round in the middle. "What is this Umbralscar? Is it a seed?" She would ask observing it and its wrinkles. She would split the blueberry in half to, seeing mini-seeds. "Are these seeds?" She would ask curiously, as she had only seen Strawberrys before.
