Far away, Dr. Arioch Iskander sat in his lab. His instruments spun and whirred. For anyone else, it would be a distracting cacophony, but for him, it was calming. No one knew that he was the leader of the resistance. It was a wonderful day.

Until-

One of his machines gave off a puff of smoke, and shifted frequencies ever so slightly...

Iskander winced, and strode over to investigate. It was one of his most... special instruments. He had built it and three others when that idiot prophet had died.

This one was the shape of a sphere. The cogs inside were ticking faster, and the tuning fork had moved a few millimeters inward. The outer shell had rotated a few degrees counter-clockwise.

He knew what this meant, and he was alarmed. The so-called heroes were on the move. And for the first time ever, two of them were together. Did they know their quest and purpose? Were they looking for the other two? Had they named the resistance their enemy?

Iskander was annoyed. "Goommaa," He called to his cyborg first commander. "Prepare our spies. We must again look for information about the heroes from the prophecy."
It was never meant to be.

Concealing even more of herself with her cloak,Lestianda headed for the city's gates at quite a fast pace,knowing that if she chose to run she would arouse even more suspicion. Her current goal was to seek refuge at a small hut not very far from the city,which served as a hideout in case of emergency such as this one,though this would be the first time it is ever used. Very few people knew of its location other than Lestianda's family. With every step she took her desire to leave until the situation de-escalated kept increasing,much like her anxiety hearing people gather at the place she announced her prophecy.
