Amc8 math question! Suppose that a * b means 3a-b What is the value of x if 2 * (5 * x)=1

{5 is a, x is b in this case}
2*((3)(5)-x)=1
{After the numeral multiplication, 3a-b is entered into 2*(15), where 2 is a, 15 is b}
(3)(2)-(15-x)=1
{Numeral multiplication, then multiple (15-x) by -1}
6-15+x=1
{Change the equation to solve for x}
x=1-6+15
{1-6=-5 -5+15=10}
x=10
