"So your cure is me doing stand-up? I... I need a moment." Iteral stands up carefully, holding up Caspian like a baby, though his tail was curled around more like a scarf. She still was not that used to holding him. She passes Mercy, stopping in front of her and looking down. "... Mom? I know this might come out of the blue but..." To distract herself or to not erupt in anger, she uses Caspian: Cradling him and giving him a little rub on the back of his head.

"I'm sorry for all the trouble I've caused the past few.. well, years. I know I'm not your dream daughter but... thank you for still putting up with me. And maybe you still having me around despite your distance should be a sign of your care for me. I'd like to join your mission tonight and please... I'll listen to your every command.
That is what she thought. What came out:

Iteral moves Caspian a little and gives Mercy a hug... well, as much as she was possible with Caspian in her arms. One arm did go around her though.
"... thanks."
She did emit a weird sense of warmth again, this time not evil warmth or anything... it felt like a hug from Matsunaga, except a little warmer. After which, she goes to the nearest sink and drenches her face in water.

Kendo went back to reading. he didn't bother changing out of his lab coat.

Iteral returns to Kendo shortly after, still with the snake boy in her arms. "... so, doctor, what do you recommend?" Her voice was upset but this time, it had a lot less power to it, she just sounded... weak. "... if medicine don't work and my own mind cannot defend itself, what can I do?"

he pulled out a jar of pills, tossing them over to Iteral.

"It's getting late. You all should get some rest." Mercy stood up and took Caspian and Eclipse, walking upstairs to find a room for them. When she came back down, she smiled faintly. "There are a few rooms up there for anyone else. I know some of you definitely need your sleep- Cloudy, Iteral. Everyone else, I don't care what you do as long as you're quiet."

Caspian and Eclipse had been put to bed in a room. They were cuddling together under the blanket and sleeping quietly.

Rūkasu was still in the corner, looking at himself, still confused about some memories and the new more robotic body he had. He thought of himself like the robot in the Swordsmith Village that had been destroyed.

Caleb was already quiet and got up, passing Mercy and going into the kitchen. Not to eat anything, just to get away from others.

Rūkasu seemed mostly back to normal, and went to Matsunaga, where he stood by her as she was sitting down. He decided to try and comfort her again in case she was feeling stressed or angry.
