The shell of Parasect seems like the unlabelled flag, but I’m unsure whether the spots and dark orange count, so I may be completely off here

Thanks for the gems, as well of course as the thread in general once again, as stated before I do adore the concept and execution regardless of whether I participate or not, or whether I guess correctly or otherwise. Warm welcomes to OrcaNinetales too, it’s wonderful to see the team’s expanding, keep up the wonderful work (in terms of the added colours to the unlabelled parasect… whilst it could be up to interpretation as to whether or not the entire colour palette is relevant, sometimes not restricting yourself to solely the flag leads to a more appealing design? I think it’d be completely in reason to continue extended palettes like parasect’s when “necessary”, but maybe to point out which colours are there as an aesthetic choice only? Perhaps not though, it may make the guidelines too loose / the game slightly too easy. Ultimately it’s SilverShinyCharizard’s/your decision to make, not my own, but outside feedback when genuine never hurts to receive? /lh) o7

There are two colours missing from this sprite since bulbasaur only has three colours!
If you have trouble guessing it, i'll show the two missing colours tomorrow!

also i'll try to remember pointing out whenever there's any colours missing from the sprite (e.g. bulbasaur only has three colours but the last flag has five) to make it possible to guess from now on! (which wasn't exactly your suggestion but your suggestion made me realize i should do that)

oh also i should mention that there's no set schedule as to when someone's gonna post a couple mons to guess

I’m not entirely sure honestly, it’s quite a difficult question to answer? Typically, I tend to go with the only option I’m not completely certain on (aside from the gay vaporeon, I was absolutely certain there) because its more fun for me that way, it leaves potential who know less flags a better chance of guessing correctly, and if my guess is incorrect, it eliminates one option for others who are uncertain, which I personally find quite gratifying in itself strangely? But with the bulbasaur one, the only one that seemed recognisable to me wad the polyam, although it’s probable I’m just having an off session?
Although, not knowing absolutely is most of the fun - like with the romo aro Serperior everyone but ~SilverTheHedgehog~ was scratching their heads over.
I absolutely wouldn’t say this set is too puzzling though, I can say that at the absolute least.

Oh, and no problem. I have huge issues with perceiving tone myself, so I wouldn’t want anyone worrying I had issues with the fact that either the flag are too obscure or I’m having a temporary bout of stupidity (that has lasted 19 years and counting :/ /j) (also, I’m not saying knowledge is a measure of worth, nor that it’s solely determined on knowing flags, I was more playfully jabbing at my forgetfulness) lmao

sorry for being late with my tips, was in a place with practically no internet

my tip for the easy one is that it's a variant of a well-known flag, you probably know it, you just don't recognize it with this one different colour

my tip for the hard one is the two missing colours:

it is quite a difficult question, so thank you so much for writing so much on it! i always love hearing other people's thoughts!
esp on the romo aro serperior because i actually thought it might have been far too niche, too hard, so it's nice to hear at least someone had fun trying to guess it while not knowing ^^

i am a bit worried about any flags being too obscure because i don't fully know how well-known some flags are to others, especially since i've known and seen them for ages (like the romo aro one (though i'm heavily biased there because 1 i am romo aro and 2 the coiner of the identity themself asked me to make some romo aro content once and just oh my god xD i basically did every mon and other thing i'd ever done in that flag, so i recognize it pretty well xD ), or other aspec flags (because there are,,, so many), etc), but it's nice to hear that it can make the guessing game fun too ^^
