The Wiki says that Cramorant “is the only Pokémon with 5 different
forms at the moment”, and the Pokédex does show 5 spots for #845,
but, as far as I can tell, Cramorant only has 3 forms: Normal,
Gulping, and Gorging.
But no other Pokémon require shiny forms to fill the Dex... And
what would be the two shiny forms in question? The Wiki shows 7
different shiny forms, depending on if the Cramorant or the
Arrokuda or Pikachu was shiny. There’s shiny normal Cramorant,
shiny Cramorant gulping a normal Arrokuda, normal Cramorant gulping
a shiny Arrokuda, shiny Cramorant gulping a shiny Arrokuda, shiny
Cramorant gorging a normal Pikachu, normal Cramorant gulping a
shiny Pikachu, and shiny Cramorant gulping a shiny Pikachu. Are the
other two forms a shiny Cramorant gulping a shiny Arrokuda and a
shiny Cramorant gulping a shiny Pikachu? This is really weird.
Also, this is unrelated to the question, but it’s weird how the
shiny Pikachu has the same color whether it’s being swallowed by
the shiny or normal Cramorant and the normal and shiny Arrokuda are
the same color whether they’re being swallowed by the shiny or
normal Cramorant but the normal Pikachu has a different color if
it’s being swallowed by the shiny Cramorant (a lighter color, the
opposite effect of what shininess does to a Pikachu).
I don’t want any shinies, I was just trying to understand how to
complete the Pokédex. And it seemed like you were saying that the
Cramorant doesn’t need to be shiny, but now you’re saying it does,
even though none of the Cramorant in those photos are shiny, just
the Pokémon it swallowed. I guess because it’s technically not a
shiny Pokémon because it’s just swallowing one.
Only the pokemon being swallowed needs to be shiny to complete the
pokedex. They're saying if a shiny cramorant swallows a pokemon,
you'll get the shiny of that form
