Chris smiled. "It's alright. I'm used to getting called my mom. In both her forms as well." Eris frowned. Why was that normal to Chris? To be mistaken as someone you're not?

Luckily, Chris didn't seem to hear, although DD seemed to have heard, by the glance she sent Roselle's way. Marina giggled. "Yeah, that can happen a lot. I remember getting mistaken for one of my stepsisters-on-my-father's-side. THAT was just awkward all around! Eh-hy!"

Jackie and Roselle were in the forest. "Is everything alright, Miss Jackie?" She said with a smile. Jackie had her arms crossed around her stomach. "I heard that mumble of yours. What was that about?" Jackie said, her back turned against Roselle. Roselle froze and gulped. "W-What mumble? I wasn't mumbling..." Roselle lied. Jackie's eyes turned a bloody red again and she turned to Roselle. "DON'T ACT STUPID, DAMNIT! THIS IS PINK DIAMOND'S SON, MY FRIEND'S SON. TREAT HIM WITH RESPECT OR I'LL MAKE YOU." Jackie said, as her eyes turned back to normal and gave Roselle a smile. "Got it?" She said. Roselle started to sweat and nodded rapidly. Jackie and Roselle went back to the palace. Jackie smiled, and Roselle seemed terrified.

Chris frowned a little when Jackie and Roselle came back, one smiling, the other terrified. He sighed. "I'm...sorry if that had to do with me." Marina was confused. "What makes you think it's your fault??" He shrugged. "I've gotten used to being a cause of trouble recently... It's one of the reasons I'm out and about. Trying to help where I'm actually needed rather than cause issues to solve..."

Suddenly, multiple Vampires busted through the windows of the palace, and through the entrance. Jackie looked outside to see all of her guards ripped apart with their limbs torn. Jackie put her mouth over her hand in horror. The Vampire's screeched at the group.

DD and Jet were up in an instant, weapons drawn. Eris 'yeep'ed and quickly got up as well. Marina gasped in shock. Chris was mind boggled. What were these things?!

The others had their weapons. "Just how many of them are there?!" Jackie growled, as she summoned her shotguns and began shooting. Lottie stood near DD in a defensive way as she summoned her staff. The others summoned their weapons and fought against the vampires...

Chris summoned his weapon; a rose shield, and covered his free fist with a pink bubble that gained spikes. He was able to take out several vampires alongside the others. Marina summoned her Trident and shot several vampires with water spears. Eris shot balls of ice, temporarily freezing the vampires in place for the others to take out.

Jeremiah was fighting the vampires until one of them grabbed his sword and threw it across the palace room. Then, two of the vampires grabbed him by both of his legs, biting and ripping them off , leaving blood gushing everywhere as the vampires chomped on Jeremiah's legs that were now gone. Jeremiah screamed in pain. Jackie watched with eyes wide...No....NO!!!

The heads of the group members whipped around at the scream. They were horrified! DD felt something bubble within her. These...freaks...DARED to hurt and maim one of her friends!? The feeling bubble snapped into one emotion; Wrath. In a flash DD's eye turned full red and she whipped around to the nearest vampire, reeling her arm back. Her reeled back fist suddenly was enveloped with red light and she PUNCHED the vampire's head off! The decapitated body fell as the head was launched into another.

Jackie was engulfed with rage and had angry tears in her eyes. She rapidly shot around the palace, shooting and killing the vampires in fury. These stupid monsters had the NERVE to hurt her boyfriend?!

DD aided Jackie with gauntlet covered fists, striking with enough force to crush the skulls or decapitate the vampires. The others stood back in surprise and awe.
