DD decided the best way to solve her situation was to meditate. Closing off from the real world to further access her mental world helped. She sat on the couch and began to enter her trance. And she was waiting for her...

Meanwhile, the fighters were continuing into the caves, fighting more hordes of vampires as they went. Eris chose to not use her soul-sucking power for the time being...

The fighting group then soon came across a hole in the ground. "You know, there was some holes we didn't discover yet. We should go this time and check them." Jackie said and jumped down. The others nodded and jumped down with Jackie.

Once everyone jumped down the hole, it was engulfed with fire around them. But, a shadow was standing in the fire. It looked like a girl? She had long blonde hair, and a hole in her stomach..her shirt and skirt was ripped, and she was missing one of her shoes, and she had socks on. She looked at the group with a pale smile. "You guys came back ... for me?.." None other than Charlie said. The group was shocked. Charlie?!?

Charlie limped over to the group. "Y-You guys...came back...it's been weeks..." Charlie said. "C-Charlie...h-how is this possible? How are you still alive?!" Lottie said in shock and worry. "If you're alive...does that mean Alexandria is here somewhere too?..." Aaron frowned. Charlie gave a frown. "You left us to die. Why would I say anything else?!" Charlie yelled, as she formed into a vampire and started to attack. "So now, they can manipulate others by shape shifting into dead people?!" Jackie said.

Chris was only semi surprised. He knew a couple gems who had done something similar... Eris yelped and shot a beam of ice, accidentally hitting the vampire's head and freezing it.

Eris blushed at the praise. It had been accidental, but was a great help to their mission. It made her feel...happy... Marina frowned as she looked at the now fallen and decapitated form of the vampire. She spoke, tone dead serious, "They're getting stronger. Who knows what else they are now capable of doing?..."

Jackie clenched her fist in anger. "They dare kill our friends, rip off my boyfriend's legs, and now they use Charlie to make us look like fools?!" Jackie said angrily.
