Chris seemed to light up. "You're a hybrid like me?!" He asked, with hope and excitement in his voice and eyes. DD frowned. Were gem hybrids really that rare???

Chris smiled. He spoke again, "Do you...think you can tell me more? About Pink? The Crystal Gems could only tell me so much. They told me you were really close to her. You don't have to if it's too painful."

But, Roselle didn't seem to like Chris, and how Marina acted towards him...she felt a certain way towards Marina, and she didn't want this hybrid to get in the way..

"Well," Chris started, "It was pretty average for most of my life. I had three aunt's who are gems like my mom and my dad who's human. After I became 13 was when things got... complicated. Suddenly I was helping fight corrupted gems, some gems who were angry at my mom's alter ego, Rose Quartz, the other Diamonds, and anyone who had a grudge or vendetta against mom. Then I learned who my mom really was, I had to face the Diamonds. And I managed to make them change their minds in regards to the Earth and Pink Diamond. After tying up a few more loose ends, I left Beach City to travel the world, learning what I could, helping gems integrate into human cities, and taking care of any situations my mom may have caused."
