Jackie's eyes widened. "D-DD..." She said, but then gave her a determined look. "I'm looking at you because I believe you can still change for the better. All the crimes that you did are all in the past. You wanted to change, didn't you? You wanted to make new friends and be a better person, better that you used to be." Jackie said. "Just like you told me, find peace with yourself and and the voices will lose their grip on you." Jackie said.

DD nodded. "Desire isn't just a voice in my head. She's another part of me. I've tried to free myself from her, but nothing works..." She paused as her mind processed what Jackie said she suffered from; PTSD, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder... A disorder caused by traumatic occurrences that leave the patient prone to flashbacks and hallucinations.

All seemed well. Almost all. One member of the group was facing demons of their own in that moment. Jet was having internal turmoil. As a Pearl, it was her duty to keep her Diamond happy. She had been unable to then, and she was unable to now. Why had she yet again failed?! Maybe, she was better off as an assassin serving the other three unshattered Diamonds...
