Marina smiled and sat down with a light sigh. "Thanks Jackie." DD and Jet frowned. Eris looked worried. Why had Marina been required for such a gruesome task??

Time Skip: 3 hours later. Night was approaching and the group still continued to speak together. Jackie didn't feel to well. She kept seeing visions of him and it made her feel sick.

Eris was the first to notice Jackie's plight. Through her spectral abilities, she could sense the aura of the others and noticed that Jackie's was closing off, trying to protect her from something unseen. "Jackie? You seem unwell. Is everything ok?" She asked Jackie, reaching her hand towards the girl in question.

Jackie slowly looked up at Eris, but she saw him about to attack her. "NO!!!" She yelled. The vision then went away and everyone looked at Jackie in confusion. "I...I....yes...I...I'll be fine.." she said.

Eris flew back as if she had been slapped. The scream scared her deeply, as it reminded her of them... DD frowned. Something wasn't right... Marina flinched at the sudden yell, but was more concerned about Jackie...

Marina had a sudden moment of mental clarity. She used it to try to figure out what could be bothering her stepsister. Only one thing came to her cloudy mind; Hades. She didn't say it out loud, not wanting to irritate Jackie by a reminder of him.

"I...I need to go..." Jackie said and ran to her room. She locked the door behind her. She looked in the mirror in front of her to see his reflection. "Ah, my dear Jackie. I've seen you reunited with your pathetic excuses of siblings and weaklings you call friends. You don't deserve them. They don't deserve you. You were a mistake, and you still are. You should've stayed gone!" He said. "Leave me alone! I've been in your hell for so long, I need at least need some freedom! Do you know how lonely it is being locked in a basement for almost your whole life and your family members died by your own father?! Why?! Why did you make us suffer?!" Jackie said. Hades just laughed. The laughter echoed around Jackie's room. Jackie covered her ears like she was in pain. "Leave me alone! I've suffered enough!! Why do you still hate me?!" She cried.

The group heard Jackie's cries. They quickly ran up to Jackie's room, only to find the door locked. The group members all called out to Jackie, asking to be let in.

Jackie heard everyone call out to her and tried to open the door. She was about to open it when she felt Hades touch her shoulder. He began to whisper in her ear. " Don't you want to kill them all? After suffering so much, you deserve revenge, right? Take them out, and I'll let you feel freedom like you never felt before.." Hades laughed as it echoed in Jackie's room again. "NO!! I WON'T LET YOU!!" Jackie yelled in angry tears and smashed the mirror with her hand, as shards of glass flew around her. The group managed to bust open the door to see Jackie crying with a bloody and injured hand, and glass shards...

Marina was by Jackie's side in an instant. "Jackie!? What happened?!" She cried to her stepsister. Eris moved closer as well, focused on wiping away the tears streaming down Jackie's face. What had happened??

"P-please don't touch me!!" Jackie said as she quickly got Eris's hands off of her face and backed away from the group as she hit the broken mirror. She was scared- scared that she would hurt her loved ones. The others frowned.

DD frowned, realizing that maybe she and Jackie wasn't so different... They both feared harming their loved ones. While the others backed up, DD slowly made her way a little closer.

DD understood completely. "Then why do you believe those words? Such words only hold power if you think them to be true. Which means part of you is still trapped, locked down by the voices. Believing them gives them more strength."
